This is the place to go if you want to see ancient Moroccan art and architecture and be transported back into another era. Built some 1100 years ago, it stands to this day as a testament to how important these buildings were/are. Students would live...More

Whilst the interior of this Medersa has impressive decor and tiling, that's about as far as it goes and you really won't spend more than 15mins here. It's worth popping in but don't expect it to kill much time. Certain areas are shut off to...More

This is really amazing. Make sure you go when it's open to non Muslims (unless you're Muslim of course). It's really an incredible building.

Taking into account that this people is not very specialized in taking care of their monuments and ruins as they are not conserved in a very good way, this medersa is a good opportunity to enjoy Marroquin art and architecture.

We enjoyed our visit to this lovely Medursa. The carvings are beautiful and so intricate. A very peaceflu place after all the hustle and blustle of the medina.

This koranic school admits non-muslims though it also holds a mosque. It has exquisite cedar wood carvings on beams, doors and screens as well as zellij tile work

Simply the best site we saw in Fez! Get the commented tour from the "hajj" (sage) in a caftan and fez hat. He's very erudite.

You may skip this place if you ever seen Alhambra palace in Granada. It is the same style. By the way, it is a must see in Fez.
