This Medersa or school was used by students who would go there for a few months to devote themselves to the study of the Koran. I'm not sure why it's not used anymore but apparently more than 200 students used to go there regulary. We...More

Cheraatin Madrasa was completed in the 17th century and catered for 150 students as the biggest school at the time. The architecture is very impressive.

On the contrary of the - indeed much more beautiful - medersas Biu Inania and Attarine, this one has the monopoly advantage that you can visit the complete building, and that's very interesting. And we where the only tourists there!
