I think I lasted 5 minutes including the tea on the terrasse of the Glacier. This is the quintessence of tourism. The only great think is the music. So just go to listen some bands.

Absolutely beautiful. Very busy and absolutely massive. If its not piping hot you can spend atleast half a day here. Surrounded by many resturants and cafes at reasonable prices. On average the food for a 2 course dish for 2 people will cost about £30 including soft drinks. Spend the night there and watch the shows in the market square... More

I admit I had high expectations of loud music, stall sellers, sneaker chambers and street performers however, the hassle that myself and my partner received was just annoying and frustrating at the best of times. We visited on numerous occasions and at different times of the day but it was unavoidable. I found it difficult just to stop and stare... More

Visited first time and they must have had money signs light up in their eyes seeing 5 westerners coming towards them. Before we knew it there was a monkey on our back on a leash and black cobras around our necks. They said "photo" and took a phone to take it themselves. The next thing €20 PER PHOTO. I was... More

A large square filled with too many people. Tourists watch traditional attractions of of the locals and the locals have collectors who forcibly impose to give money for to watch . In my wife they grabbed the mobile from her hands when she took a photo a snake charmer and they did not give it back until you give money... More

The square harbours a colourful collection of mildly interesting bit and pieces. Lots of stalks selling orange juice, dried fruit and briq a brac. Many snake charmers, monkey and bird handlers. If you look at them or take a photo you will be accosted for money very aggressively. We ate at the food stalls and found the food to be... More

A very busy place after sunset. I prefered to shop during the day as it is a little more peaceful. There are many little roads with lots of shops, stalls, restaurants and historical monuments to visit. Well worth a visit and do some shopping. It's best to get a local map or download one before you go. I found you... More

Within the walls of this city it's pretty much the only place worth going to , but , is it really worth going to . There is very little here that Brits would actually want to buy , but there is lots to have a look at , but not always in a good way . Whether your an animal... More

Went out here a couple of times, for morning/ evening strolls or just looking for restaurants in the souk. It is a experience, especially in the evening. Watercarriers, snake charmers and men with monkeys in diapers are all present as well as the henna-ladies. If you'd like you can spend some money there on everything from fore-mentioned entertainment (although I... More
