The souks are a maze and you will get lost. Hiring a trustworthy guide perhaps on your first day will give you confidence and save time from being lost or ripped off.

Walls around the Medina, probably is close to 17 kilometers long. Long time ago they protected the city from invaders, now is a piece of history.

The ramparts had lost its function many years ago, but they are still there marking the limits of the medina. We got a nice tour, my recommendation is to take it with a guide.

The Ramparts are sorrounding all the medina of Marrakech. You can visit with a horse car while the sunset, is magic!
