What a great place to shop. A place you buy almost anything. Don't expect to see prices clearly marked; ask the price and then play the game of bartering. Come in low so you can work up to a price your willing to pay. You...More

This should be an absolute must for anyone visiting Marrakesh. It wasn't really about buying products and shopping for me but more the experience and environment within which the traders go about selling their wares. This can be a little bit intimidating so it is...More

It's an experience that you can't miss going to the souks. There's several souks selling different things all intertwined through the streets and alley ways. The touristy ones are selling all the souvenir type items and they are abundant and overflowing with pretty things. Haggling...More

Jemaa el Fna is a large place located with in the Medina but on it's outer edge. As such, vehicle traffic such as taxi, private cars, and especially delivery trucks have after hours access to the area to stock the local shops and stalls. Starting...More

There is no street signs, and easy to get lost in the streets. Holding maps makes you are a target, attracting unwanted helps.

Crazy market place!! While the area and its host is interesting, I found it difficult to take it in because of the people hustling to charge you ridiculous amounts for practically anything. Do not pay attention to anyone unless you plan on buying something. People...More

Well worth a visit. A lot of stuff to buy and lots of smells, sights and colours. Very busy at times and you have to have great bargaining skills.
