We made 3 visits to the souks in total on our week long trip, all at varying times. The difference in timing is amazing. If you go early there is a lot less hassle and pressure...some sellers even seem actively disinterested. We passed a whole...More

Daytime is less busy - you won't see the snakes and the monkeys but less crowded and you get a good look around. It is huge though so wear sensible shoes and keep to the right as they ride scooters and donkeys through the streets....More

Silly question, but is this where i can find dejellaba's? I am planning to go for about a week but don't want to pack heavily being that I would like to buy some lovely dejellaba's from Morocco before i leave and other souvenirs.

Hi, yes you will find lots of djellabas in the souks and in shops around Marrakesh. Ranging from cheap and cheerful ones and some much more elaborate expensive ones.
Does anyone know until what time we can still find the souks open?
