This experience was absolutely life changing. Hussein, my amazing guide took great care of me from the time I got on my bus in Marrakech to the time I got off in Merzouga and back. His communication was impeccable. He was available and responded immediately during any time - it didn't matter if I was reaching out to him for assurance during my 12 hour bus ride through the Atlas Mountains or just arriving to my next destination days later. The accommodations are quaint and cozy and right on top of the dunes. You can see them in the horizon in the near distance.
I received complete and utter generosity and beautiful hospitality by Hussein and his lovely family with three meals each day I was there. The tour of the tiny village Merzouga was peaceful and eye opening. I was able to eat dates directly from the trees and munch on fresh mint leaves from the ground.
We set out for the camp in the sand dunes (my trusted guide and I) on camel back at 6pm. The landscape, the beauty, the scenery cannot be put in to any description or words that will do it justice. It's something every single person should experience for themselves first hand.
Do yourself a favor and book a couple days or longer with Tours Across Morocco. I plan on making this trip on a regular basis. It was a scary thing for me to travel like this on my own, so far away from home (and I travel a lot). I put a lot of trust in my guide, Hussein. He was a perfect gentleman, strictly professional and an absolute delight. Thank you 1,000 times for the experience Hussein. I'll see you soon!!

Hussain is a very kind and helpful tourguide and host who also speaks English and French. He brought us what we came for: a couple of romantic nights under the stars in the sanddunes with a lovely Tajine and only the sound of our two camels. He also showed us the anual cultural festival in Merzouga. I will return one day and I recommend others to visit this magical place.

Me and my boyfriend had a really good time in the Sahara desert and in Hassilabied, a small place 5 kilometers from Merzouga. The place is so relaxed and nice. We went on camels to a desert camp and stayed there one night. The other nights we spend in hassilabied. There is enough to do such as walking through the gardens and hanging out in the town with the locals. Hussein is a warm, friendly and interesting person. He knows his country good and he makes an effort to make your stay excellent. We really enjoyed playing games in the shade with him and hanging around. We definitely come back. Maybe next year, maybe in october already ;)

My New Years in the Sahara Desert was one that was unforgettable! Husssain was an excellent communicator and very organized with all the details for the trip. He warmly welcomed me in Merzouga and then our group headed off into the desert on our camels. The desert got more dramatic and beautiful the deeper we got in. We arrived to a simple camp where we had dinner and then sat around a fire. The local people played drums and sang. We enjoyed each others company under the stars. An added bonus of the experience was that there were other camps within the dunes having new years parties. We climbed the dunes to 2 other parties where we danced and mingled. It was a blast! I highly recommend booking a tour with Hussain. It will be one of your best experiences in Morocco.

We had a wonderful time with Hussein and Ibrahim as our Guides in the desert. They really took great care of us and the Tajine (in the desert Camp under a million stars) was the best I had in Morocco! I would and will recommend the tour with Hussein as a guide anytime!

Hussein is an amazing host and tour guide!
He is a true berber of the Saharan desert and has a lot of knowledge about his culture and the Moroccan lifestyle. There is no better way to have a Moroccan culture experience other than this.
Riding on camels in the sand dunes during sunset, and eating a giant sizzling tajine and moroccan whisky (delicious mint tea) whilst singing berber songs into the starry night was definitely a highlight of the tour!
Hussein is very friendly and great to chat with.
I would definitely recommend his tours anytime.
Marrakech to Merzouga is a long drive however with Hussein's company, it's definitely a life changing experience and a memory I will always cherish.
