I would not call it Terrasse des Paresseux but I will use the translation from arabic how Tanger'ian call it : The Wall of idle. Just amazing place to sit and relax on ground after a citywalk. u can directly see the other part of europe or just observe the faces of people in the mean boulevard.

The Terrasse des Paresseux is one of the city's most famous locales, adjacent to the iconic coffee spot Gran Cafe de Paris, with antique cannons and a view over part of the old city and the port. Between the unwanted attention of street hawkers and the disappointing views, however, visitors are likely to be underwhelmed. Check it out if nearby,... More

Our guide left us up the street where hawkers were attacking tourists with hands full of gaudy ersatz jewelry, fossils, relics, cheap stuff, and we didn't want or need any of that so we strolled down to street to find this beautiful terrace, from which we could see our ship in port and the large cannons aimed out to sea.... You can sit there with young Moroccan people who dreamed about Europe, watching it and seeping coffee.

Tangier's "terrace of the lazy" is basically a wide pavement extension on Avenue Pasteur with a few antique cannon displayed for tourist attraction, their barrels polished to a shine by visitors sliding on them for photographic opportunity souvenirs, fixed binocular stations are available to spend a dirham for a closer look at the Spanish coastline across the Gibraltar Strait on... From the french, the Lazy's Terrace captures the main idea, jobless moroccan youth taking longing looks at Europe, Tarifa in Spain, which seems to be at one's hands reach. You will enjoy yourself better sitting at Cafe de Paris nearby at place de France facing the French Embassy. Choose a delicous cake from the bakery next door, it's the local... More

La Terrasse des Paresseux is a good place to start a walking tour of the area around Boulevard Pasteur and the French colonial part of Tangier. The terrace offers a beautiful sea view. Across from the terrace is the famous Madani perfumer. There you can buy perfumed soaps for under two dollars, knock-offs of your favorite perfume and rare essences.... More

The aptly named Terrasse des Paresseux in Tangier provides sweeping views of the port and, on a clear day, Gibraltar and Spain. A set of ancient cannons faces the bay, symbolically warding off usurpers. This is the place where to meet the local people eating pipas and watching the passers by. The view of the sea and the port is stunning
