Beautiful Anglican church on the Strait of Gibraltar, the oldest and most unique in its style. Well cared for as well as its romantic adjacent cemetery. The Anglican church of St. Andrew is a piece of important historical heritage of Tangier. It deserves to be...More

Four CWGC headstones for the crew of Wellington HF307, three names and one Unknown who is probably P/O Orrie Frank Hyndman, MIA 22Feb1944. The family mourns.

This church is what religion should be about. It is. AChristian church with Muslim and Jewish aspects included in the architecture. The church is all about sharing instead of fighting over who is right and who is wrong. Look at the ceiling which is hand...More

The history of the church, the way it has integrated cultures / faits - around the chancel arch is the Lords Prayer in Arabic. Custodian, very friendly and wanted to talk lots. Churchyard rather a mess

We took a break and saw St Andrew church. This garden setting in the middle of the Medina is a nice quiet break. The surrounding area is very well groomed and enjoyable.

The Moorish Anglican church and its historic graveyard are worth visiting. The caretaker will give you a tour in various languages and the Church services are poignant. Most of the British parishioners have been replaced with African migrants desperate to reach Europe.

St. Andrew's is an active Anglican church that still holds service. It has a rich and unique history that can be seen in its many old gravestones, both inside the church and on the church grounds

Another legacy of Tangier's complex colonial history. Still an active church with a unique and purposeful blend of Anglican and Islamic elements

The place is very close to the "Place 9 juillet". I did a walk on the cemetery outside the church. The carekeeper very agressive asking for money to get inside the church. There are some graves of officials dead on the II WW. Despite that...More

Among everything else that is very north African is this little English church and its yard. You can wander around and see all of the history of the people who have made Tangier over the past couple of centuries. Intriguing and well worth a visit
