Another legacy of Tangier's complex colonial history. Still an active church with a unique and purposeful blend of Anglican and Islamic elements

The place is very close to the "Place 9 juillet". I did a walk on the cemetery outside the church. The carekeeper very agressive asking for money to get inside the church. There are some graves of officials dead on the II WW. Despite that...More

Among everything else that is very north African is this little English church and its yard. You can wander around and see all of the history of the people who have made Tangier over the past couple of centuries. Intriguing and well worth a visit

My husband and I wandered into the lush churchyard to see the church itself. Yassin, the caretaker, let us into the church for €5. He told us some of the history and told us to stay as long as we like. The architecture was really...More

Lovely garden in the middle of the Tangier chaos. Beautiful plantings and interesting tomb stones. We did not go into the church

We lived the sense of history and place at this church. A simple walk around the garden is a rare glimpse into the history of Tanger and its many influences.

A small Anglican Church in the Medina of Tangier. Caters for several religions besides Anglican including Catholic, Jewish, Islam, etc. Had a few Irish connections which fascinated me as I am from Dublin. It's a world apart from the area it is located in. Our...More

A very interesting place, contrasting firmly with its surroundings. An English garden and a cementary right next to an Anglican church. Very nice caretaker offered us a visit inside but unfortunately we did not have that much time.

We had a quick stop in to visit. I do recommend it. What a blessing it is to see a Christ centered church and worship in Tangier.
