We went at the beginning of Winter so the river was quiet which added to the magic. Our guides Petrus and Kevin took excellent care of our needs i.e. they guided the way down the river, cooked all meals, set up the porta-loo, safety talks, packing and unpacking the boats pre and post rafting, etc. The river was very low,... We just had a fantastic 5 day trip down the Orange River with Bundi Adventures (who I think took over from "River Rafters". We had a mixed group of adults and kids and were looked after fantastically. Bundi run the river in "crocs" rather than the fiberglass canoes that other trip organizers use and for us these were so much... More

Rafting starts from an exellent campsite in Noordoever about 10km from the Namibia /South Africa border post. Situated on the banks of the Orange river, grassed and with ample space for at least two vehicles and tents each has a braai area and private, roofed wash-up area with potable water. There is a restaurant & bar. They use "indian" canoes which... More

We decided to overnight on the border of South Africa and Namibia before a long drive. We stayed at a lovely place called Felix River chalets. Very romantic star filled evenings and a good diner made it the perfect stop. Hired 2 canoes and a guide for a half day river ride.

Absolutely stunning experience - as a family we kayaked down the Orange River. We started at the Amanzi Trails Base Camp near Noerdower in Namibia and kayaked for 65 kms - with 3 nights camping. The guides were fabulous - with skills from teaching us how to kayak through the rapids to cooking up a wonderful meal each the evening.... More

We did a over night kayak tour where we camped on the sand banks. The ambiance is just great. To the places we have seen you cannot go by car. It is an inspiring piece of nature. You'll have cliffs boulder fields monkeys and a lot of other animals - it was just amazing.

We spent four days and four nights kayaking along the Orange River. The scenery along the river is magnificent, particularly the area through the Richtersveld. Great bird life too. In the evening the stars come out to play in a big way. Paddling down the Orange River is a must do, the only real question is which company to choose.... More

The Cabanas of Felix Unite on the banks of the Orange river is absolute a winner after long travelling from Cape Town to Namibia. It is the perfect location for overnite and a good rest.Very safe and secure, there is a entering gate with night watch. The Cabanas overlook the Orange river and we could hear the river flow which... More

We have just completed a 4 day, five family trip with Bundi down the Orange River. We used Bundi for they were the most professional when we researched all existing outfitters. The experience on the River was even better, with fantastic guides and excellent food for the whole family. The care, input around safety and the service as a whole... More
