Kilimanjaro,Everything was perfect with Nafika Tours!
I had booked a 7 days Lemosho tour for climbing Kilimanjaro with Nafika tours which turned out to be a really good decision. We were a group of 6 people and had 3 guides which assured that everyone of the group could follow his own pace. Justine, the main guide checked my gear the night before the climb to make sure that I was well equipped for climbing. Justine is an extremely experienced guide, he looks after you and he assures at every moment that you are well. The whole team was just great, they were looking after you, giving you all support you needed. Meals were great, tents allways clean, hot water bottles for your sleeping bag to keep you warm in the night, ginger tea when you didn't feel well and allways in a very happy mood. The whole team was supporting us in an exceptionnel way. I can only highly recommend this local company for climbing Kilimanjaro. My special thanks to Justine who assist me a lot when needed :). With out Justine I would not have made the peak.

Truly a great wonderful life experience. Go do it
I booked a kilimanjaro trip Marangu route with Halisi African Adventures who organised everything in Tanzania. From pick up at airport to arrival at hotel an hour later. Check in was quick as abit later on at night. I met the rest of the group that were going up same time as me, we had a briefing with head guide John who explained what would happen on leaving day. Everything was taken care of, duffle bag was carried up, tents set up, food was fantastic throughout the hike, even made a cake for a birthday. They checked us every night to ensure we were doing ok and sang a lullaby before we went to bed. The hike is not an easy one, there are boulders to walk up and down, a wall to climb up. Summit night drains your energy but at all times the guides were there helping you at every place that got rough. Definitely recommend Halisi African Adventures and John as a top guide.

This is your trekking company, hands down!!!!
I highly recommend Tanzania Horizon Safaris as they are very organized, focus on safety, and have well trained guides,I have never experienced a more perfect and kind service.Every day that we arrived to camp, our tents were set up and we had 3 full delicious meals presented royally by our cook Omary right off the bat, it was clear that the guides and everyone involved were on top of their game. They also provided good advice and regular health checks. I rented a sleeping bag from the organiser, which was really useful during the cold nights.I do recommend the portable toilet as the bathrooms at the camp site are not very clean. I advise all travelers to use a fleece sleeping bag liner as it gets very cold at night. To be honest,The team's level of professionalism and attention to detail is unparalleled. Every aspect of the tour, from the itinerary to the accommodations, was meticulously planned and executed flawlessly. The seamless organization allowed me to focus on enjoying the destinations without any worries or stress. Would 100% recommend it to anyone interested in climbing Kilimanjaro. You will not regret it.

Awesome experience with Tanzania Horizon Safaris on the 8 Days Lemosho Route with Friends!!
My Friends and I had an amazing experience climbing Mt Kili with the Tanzania Horizon Safaris. We did the 8-day Lemosho route. Our guides were knowledgeable and experienced, sharing tips each day on what to expect, how to prepare, etc. and they were a huge part of helping us reach the summit! Three hot meals a day was incredible, and our pre-dinner "happy hour" where we shared tea, coffee, snacks, and conversations was always great.  Last but not least, the porters were great, very friendly, and pleasant, even when balancing 20 kilos on their heads, greeting us when they were passing by us. All in all, it was an amazing experience,  If you want the best possible experience, I highly recommend Tanzania Horizon Safaris

Kilimanjaro Trekking Adventure With Mboni Adventures
Text: We had an awesome time trekking up the Lemosho with my friends with Mboni Adventures. The crew consisted of two guides (Meshak and Khatibu) ten porters and one chef) All awesome and the best people to be around. They made our trek successful because they gave it 100% to get us to the summit. The trek was well organized and ran according to plan. We covered the planned daily sections comfortably, enjoying the stunning scenery of Kilimanjaro. I was happy to note that our crew were well kitted with good mountain gear and equipment, unlike some of the teams we encountered along the way. Food was delicious and abundant always accompanied by fruits and vegetables. I was lucky to have a trouble-free trek aside from mild altitude sickness on the summit nightm however with the herbal tea from Khatibu, this eased out and I was able to proceed to the summit. We reached the summit early in the morning, we enjoyed the amazing sights from the top of Africa. I am very grateful to everyone from Mboni Adventures that was involved in planning and executing our trek for an awesome job. We love you guys!

    Lemosho Route with Habari adventure.
Habari adventure was amazing! Caroline helped us plan both the climb and the safari. She was very responsive and provided all the information, even when we asked her for the same information multiple times. Even during our trip she was quick to respond and helped us alter our hotel booking. The 17 member crew for Kilimanjaro was just amazing! “One team, One Dream, All the way to the top!” I believe, we made all the way to the top, just because of the “Dream Team”. We were slow compared to others in the group, however, the guides, cooks and other crew recognized that and ensured that all our needs were take care of. They didn’t mind the extended time it took us to complete our daily hikes, the guides were happy to accommodate us and didn’t make us feel guilty for the delay. They didn't care how long it took as long we were safe. All the staff members, the waiters, cooks, camp crew and porters were always willing to help with a smiling face. The quality of food provided throughout the climb was excellent and nutritious. Our chef prepared cake for my 35th Birthday with champaign to celebrate at the top. Honestly this is the best trip ever. The crew displayed nothing short of pure professionalism and ensured everyone’s needs were met. Everyone contributed to our successful climb, but if we had to name couple, it has to be the awesome guides Stan the man and Ema. Everything throughout the trip was perfect, the pickup and drop to and from the airport and the hotels included in our package were perfect. We are glad we chose Habari adventure and would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a travel adventure! This was once in a lifetime experience! Thanks Habari Team

Amazing Trip With Jovin Of Maua Adventures
This is one in a lifetime experience on the Kilimanjaro Machame route and was only made possible by the incredible team from Maua Adventures. Planning this trip with Jackson was stress-free. He was available to answer questions and advised on the best route and equipment suitable for a couple on honeymoon. The team of porters and cook under guide Jovin was the best. They supported us mentally and physically, sparing nothing to get us to the summit. The coordination within the team ensured that we would find the camp already set, Priva the chef would make some of the best food we had in Tanzania. The early morning coffee in bed and warm water to wash was a nice touch. I am happy that we agreed to the mobile toilet because the public washrooms were atrocious. Jovin and his team are real professionals, they knew when we wanted our private time and did not smother us with excessive attention. We came back from the summit totally satisfied with the service from Maua Adventures. We will definitely be your ambassadors to the world for being impeccable.

Our Kilimanjaro Trek With World Adventure Tours
Our Kilimanjaro Machame trekking experience with World Adventure Tours was absolutely fantastic. Patrick our trip advisor helped us to select a suitable route, plan and prepare for the trek. We were a little bit nervous to send thousands of Euros to people that we had never met, but my parents reassured that we did not have to worry because they had gone on a flawless safari with World Adventure Tours last year. We did our payment in two instalments: at the booking and confirmation stages. Kileo was the main guide, assisted by guide Francis, porters and cooks. We had the main briefing at Springlands hotel, where Kileo did the main trekking briefing, health check and gear checklist. During the trek this crew proved to be professional and experienced. They knew the route very well and supported all the aspects pf the trek. To start with the equipment and gear we had was excellent. The weather was favourable too as it did not rain for the days we were on Kilimanjaro. Food was sufficient and really good. The cook (Moses) made very good food. The timeless views from Kilimanjaro as we closed on the summit are profoundly beautiful and will be forever etched in my mind. We made it to Uhuru Peak which is an amazing achievement. There are so many good things that happened on our trek and we owe it all to the great organization and execution from World Adventure Tours.

Highly Recommend this to everyone, Kilimanjaro climbing 7 days Lemosho Route.
As a group of 3 hikers from Singapore (age from 50 to 65!), we had the great pleasure to travel with Nafika Tours a local company in Tanzania this year July 2023. We really enjoyed two trips from this company , first 7 days treck Lemosho Route to successfully climb Mount Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho Route. We fully appreciated the kind and professional support from the team of Nafika Tours a local agency, with special thanks for providing us the missing treck equipment. We liked particularly the enthusiastic and professional coaching of the guides Jonson , who brought much fun to this treck, and was very implicated to lead all of us to the summit! Many thanks to Jonson! We are really grateful to the friendly team of guides, cook and porters, who made this treck possible, and for us very comfortable. We were in the best condition to reach the top!!! The lead guide and his team of assistance guide, porters, cooks, toilet crew and tent crew went all the way out to ensure the safety and comfort of our climb throughout the trip. We where well fed with fresh hot 3 meals everyday, the toilets were regularly clean, our water bottles were constantly filled, our shoes were cleaned every single day, our health was monitored daily health check everyday, the camp site was always ready upon arrival. On summit night, the harsh cold conditions does not stop the guides from keeping morale high throughout the ascent. The guides set a good pace for the team and encouraged us to go pole pole for acclimatization. Everyone managed to ascent in time for sun rise and made it down safely. We finished the stay in Tanzania with a wonderful 4 days safari trip through the Tarangire National Park the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti National Park. Here again we were very well guided by Joseph , who organized nice game drives to let us discover the best sights of the parks, and so many animals, lions, cheetah, leopard, elephants, zebra, Rhino..etc Overall will recommend Nafika Tours for their service provided. Asante Sana.

    Great Experience
We had a really great trek here. I strongly recommend Uprise Africa Explorer to all my friends. I had a really nice trek. All the crew was amazing and helpful to all point amazing food they provide vegetarian menu on Kilimanjaro which was surprised us we did expect to have vegetarian food on mountain and all food where fresh they send supply of food every day Kilimanjaro Trek in Tanzania was my dream since the time that Robot movie song came. Well, it may sound clichéd, but something about that song intrigued me and I was thinking of going to this place. I took this trek with my wife, and she like it Tanzania is by itself a beauty and this trek adds more grace to it. I enjoyed this trek totally and heartfully. Do try this trek. I highly and strongly suggest this.

8 days Lemosho route is very scenic and has more days for acclimatization. My wife and I joined 4 other climbers on the trek and we have made unforgettable memories. We had Yesse, Theo and Chitanda as our main guides assisted by nineteen porters and one cook (Fanuel) as our support crew. The crew was friendly and put all their efforts to comfortably and safely helping us reach the summit and back to Moshi. In the 8 or so days we interacted closely learning about best trekking ways, Kilimanjaro’s flora and fauna, listening to their experiences on Kilimanjaro on their many guiding expeditions that we became like family. Fanuel prepared nice dishes and served hefty portions that we ate to our fill. Zara has quality tents and sleeping bags that kept us very warm even in sub-zero temperature. We had morning and evening health vitals checks, I suffered from a mild case of altitude sickness on the summit night and Yesse was alert to notice. He requested the party to stop, then gave me a mug of (herbal) tea and luckily I was able to continue with the trek to the summit.
We or I definitely would not have made it to the top without their support. 2 very important things: hire a chemical toilet, bring low denomination euros/dollars to tip crew.
Zara is definitely doing an impeccable job for climbers and I fully recommend them

I can strongly recommend Climbkili as the ultimate guided experience on Mt. Kilimanjaro.

First and foremost, I am grateful we had Herment Mosha as our guide. He has all the qualities of the best guides-extremely knowledgeable, superb athleticism, safety-minded, kindness, friendliness, and empathy. He also has tremendous management skills as I noted with his interactions with the other Climbkili guides and staff. I have had over forty mountain guides in various locations and I can say that Herment stands with the best. In the U.S., the best mountain guides are called the “guide’s guide” as other guides aspire to be as good as them. Herment is a “guide’s guide.” This man has over 174 summits on Kilimanjaro and the respect that guide’s from other groups give him is noticeable. The assistant guides, Goodlove and Florian, were extremely strong and dedicated to the groups success also.

The entire staff of porters was amazing. Not only did they perform the superhuman feat of moving and setting camp each day, they saw to it that it was as comfortable as possible. The meals were plentiful, hot, and helped us maintain our energy. Even more extraordinary was the staff’s friendliness and palpable joy in their work despite how challenging it is. These men are world class athletes and they also had great song/dance routines in the morning to motivate us upwards.

Climb Kili is also one of the few groups that has a permit for the Kosovo camp. The benefit of the Kosovo camp for the final high camp cannot be underestimated and I think it is an advantage for Climbkili that distinguishes it from others companies. Gaining the extra distance and altitude above the standard Barack camp the day before the summit attempt is key to a higher success rate.

On behalf of my son, girlfriend , and her daughter, and myself, I feel gratitude towards the entire staff and Herment, and fortunate that we went with Climbkili for our successful summits on Kilimanjaro. I will always recommend Climbkili and Herment.

This experience was soo much more rewarding than I expected. The rainforest and mountain top views are just the beginning, because the comradery & support of the whole Climbkili group make for everlasting memories. Our Head Guide Herment led with authority and confidence, but knew just when to stop to provide history on flowers & landmarks along the way. I felt completely at ease with Herment and his Assistant Guides Goodlove and Florian watching over us on the hikes. They were very patient and supportive when we stopped to take pictures, eat snacks, drink water, and partake in daily banter. After several short conversations, it felt like everyone in the group (including guides) had been friends forever. It was also very evident that our Guides were friends with everyone else working on the mountain, which also gave me great comfort that they were experienced and respected by others. We had a large variety of soups, sandwiches, salads, burgers, and even pizzas one night. Several nights, we called for Chef Justin to visit us, so that we praise his cooking in person.

Everyone treated us with genuine kindness, love, and endless positive support. Their singing & dancing, infectious positive attitude, and amazing work ethic & physical strength powered us through each day.

I wholeheartedly recommend ClimbKili if you are planning to climb Kilimanjaro. Sia Moshi and her staff at the Summit Lodge take of everything and does a great job being very personable and organizing the hotel.

What an unbelievable experience!!! My 60th birthday was looming and at the last minute, I decided not to let Covid prevent me from celebrating in a unique and different way. My husband and I booked through Zara Tours and we had the good fortune of being assigned our guide, Living Maleo, and his team. We ended up being the first trek for this group since Covid began, and the comradery and joy emanating from their tents was infectious. Living's been guiding for 17 years and he's professional, experienced, knowledgeable and flexible. Not only is he highly respected by his porters and crew, but he also understands the unique goals and motivations of his individual clients. By a bizarre accident, I'd had a lobe of my lung removed 7 months prior and, despite being acclimated and fit, my chances of summiting were unclear. When I explained my situation to Living in our pre-climb meeting, I made it clear that my goal was the overall experience, not the summit, and if either he or I noticed my condition deteriorating, I wanted him to not hesitate in turning me around. At 17,000 feet, that's exactly what happened. Despite not summiting, Kili was the trip of a lifetime. And the guest service at Zara Tours was exceptional. They were able to book us from start to finish in less than a month, even making very last minute changes without complaint. In addition to the rushed booking, my husband and I are vegan, but Zara was more than accommodating in providing fresh and delicious food throughout the trek. We also found Zara's rate to be surprisingly reasonable..., just be prepared to adequately tip. The porters and guides definitely earn it!

If you're thinking of Kili, but concerned that you won't summit, go anyway! We were amazed at the high summit rate, especially on the Lemoshu route. If you're one of the few who don't summit, it may be the experience of a lifetime anyway. And it could be the perfect time to get it off your bucket list. We were the only two in our group and the mountain was much less crowded than normal. (If you're concerned with travel restrictions during Covid, we found the pre-flight PCR testing to not be an issue and many places will do it for free. In addition, several African airlines have folded, but if you're coming from the U.S. or Europe, we flew on KLM from Washington D.C. to Amsterdam and from there, KLM has a direct flight to Kilimanjaro (Moshi.) The cost was extremely affordable and KLM takes Covid protocol very seriously.

Great company with amazing staff and experiences, before we had even booked our trip we sent an email to a range of companies and Silver Expedition was the only one that replied promptly and with the most information.

Mt. Kilimanjaro, we opted 7 day Rongai Route as it truly is the most beautiful and scenic route. Our support crew of guides, cook, and porters were just outstanding and it is because of those guys that we really had a great time, which helped us a lot to made the summit so easy. All the crew were friendly, fantastic and amazing. Many thanks to them.

3 days safari camping
We had the pleasure to be guided by Baraka during our safari trip. He was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, whilst providing lots of helpful insights/fun facts into secret lives of all sorts of wildlife that we encountered. The animals we observed remain our memory and overtake every negativity.

I would not hesitate to recommend Silver Expedition to anyone who wants to trek Kilimanjaro Mountain or safari. They will give you a memory of a lifetime. I have recommended them to my friends and are already booked to use them on April. I would do this again with the same person in a heartbeat.
Thanks Silver Expedition for the memorable trek and safari I had in Tanzania.

I did the Kilimanjaro trek last month with my co-workers.It had been on my bucket list for years. I am so happy I was able to finally do it.It was very challenging physically & mentally, but the journey was worth every step. Altitude sickness can be a real problem, so you need to ascend slowly, drink plenty of water and be guided by a professional company. The CEO at Goldenice helped us choose a good route with magnificent scenery all along the way (the Lemosho route).During the trek everything went as planned,Our local guide Werema was PHENOMENAL! Werema’s English was good enough and he was a really reliable guide that we always felt 100% safe with him. He is very experienced about the mountain including all aspects of local culture and history and told us many stories along the way.Our Porters were amazing, carried all our gears, very hard working and always smiling. The food from our chef peter was fabulous, he kept us health for all eight days of our trek.Standing on the rooftop of Africa at 5,895m is simply the best thing I have ever done in my entire life.what an achievement. Goldenice exceeded every expectation that we had,I would recommend them to anyone planning a visit to Kilimanjaro.

Our group of 8 people went on an 8 day hike via the Lemosho route with The Rickshaw travel group. It was an absolutely amazing experience! We were all blown away by the hospitality of our crew. Our guides Francis, Robert, Ibrahim and Nico were very friendly and took great care of us, especially when someone was not feeling great.
Our “stomach engineer” or chef, Present, prepared wonderful food for every meal, we had omelettes, pancakes, toast and sausages for breakfast, and we would always have two or three course lunches and dinners, usually with some delicious soup.
The porters were also fantastic. They were all extremely friendly, and very helpful. For example, among others, the porter carrying my bag, Leonardo, would always get to the camps before us and then come meet us with smiling faces to help us carry our day packs.
We also had great waiters, Masanja and Toidy who provided coffee tea or hot chocolate every morning as well as some warm water for washing.

All in all, although the trek was tough for some of us and only half of our group ended up reaching the summit, we all had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend Rickshaw to anyone planning to go on this adventure!

Me and my wife we booked the 8 day Lemosho hike. With Uprise Africa Explorer Motta Baraka was our lead guide, he visited us at hotel the day before our hike to brief us and check our equipment for the hike. day one before Gudluck arrived early to pick us up and introduced us to Kisima (assistant guide) and the rest of the team joining us for the hike. During the hike we wanted to change the itinerary from an 8 day to a 7 day, Gudluck provided us with several options of how we could achieve this. So we ended up completing the hike in 7 days. Both Baraka and Kisima were approachable and supportive through the duration and provided daily briefings. Throughout the 7days the food was amazing and never in short supply so if you think you’ll loose weight doing this hike then think again as we were constantly fully fuelled from pancakes to popcorn and curries to fish and chips It was all amazing Hats off to our chef. Our safety and well-being were always the teams priority and baraka and kisima we’re constantly checking in to see how we were mentally and physically and offering suggestions to assist. In addition to all of this, the perfect end to every evening was a hot water bottle in your sleeping bag.I felt so safe but also pushed to the limit on this trek. I cannot recommend this enough and if you booked with Uprise Africa Explorer you know you’ll be in the best team on the mount Kilimanjaro they also offer to best price with the best service they also have insurance which will help you in case you face any problem in the mountains i highly recommend them

We are a large group of 10 friends from United States who just completed the amazing Mount Kilimanjaro Trek with Top Kilimanjaro, a really perfect Kilimanjaro Trekking Tour Operator. They advised us to take 7 days of Machame trek because of a higher success rate and we were all successful in reaching the summit. Our guides, cooks, and porters were kind, caring and interesting people to do the mountain together with. The climb was challenging but with the support of the expert crew, great equipment (tents, sleeping bags, chemical toilet…), delicious hot meals and constant care and motivation we did it. There were many remarkable individual moments on the climb however nothing beats sunrise at the summit. It was amazing! Unforgettable! I highly recommend Top Kilimanjaro!
