    Spectacular Sight
We were staying at the Four Seasons Lodge and chose the day trip to Ndutu to see the great migration. Our guide Pruis did a wonderful job showing us this spectacular sight. We saw thousands of wildebeests, zebras, Cale buffalos and many other animals. To see these large animals thunderously running was exhilarating. We saw flamingos and other birds at the lake in the park. One of the highlights was seeing 3 different prides of lions totaling 14 lions. The roads are bumpy and our trip was about 10 hours in total. We were very glad we chose to do nothing the following day. The Four Seasons is a great place to relax and recharge. Beautiful pool and spa treatment.

A Once In a Lifetime Experience.
Unlike quite a lot of people, we were lucky. We didn't have to wait for the migration. Instead, the migration happened to be where we were going. It is surreal to drive through a group of millions of animals. We saw the wildebeest running. We saw the zebras play-fighting among each other. It was a unique experience and we couldn't believe how lucky we were.

fantastic safaris in Kenya and Tanzania organized by Vimat Safaris
In Aug, I had an incredible two weeks trip through Maasai Mara, North and Central Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire NP with Vimat safaris, guided by our drivers Martin in Kenya and Alex in Tanzania. Six of us ( three couples) had a memorable and amazing time in our first African safari adventure. Especially our driver Alex had a sharp eye for spotting wildlife in the national parks, his major in college is about wildlife, he can memory more than hundreds and thousands the common name of bird, animal and plant, also including their Latin name. As our major is Chinese herb medicine, we learned Latin before, that’s why we know how hard it is. We learned a lot from him. His deep knowledge of the animals, Maasai culture, and Tanzanian traditions enriched our experience. Despite the challenges, he effortlessly handled the luggage of our 6-person tour group. We are sooooo lucky to experience 5 times of wildebeest crossing river in the north of Serengeti: two times with small size of wildebeest around 300 , once with middle size of around 2,000 , once with about one hundred fifty thousands , once with 80 thousands), these iconic Great Migration make it truly unforgettable. How lucky we are! We saw tons of elephants, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, lions, wildebeests, hippos, warthogs, etc. Also saw and photographed a whole bunch of colorful birds. We saw the Cheetah and her cubs on two occasions, and saw lions in every parks, one time it’s 6 lions, and another one it’s 9 lions on the road. We saw lions in every park…. About 8 times in total, 3 of which were lion groups, and the most was 8 lions in Ngorongoro Crater. I think Ngorongoro Crater’s beauty left me speechless. The sheer vastness of the plains, the diversity of the wildlife, and the serenity of the environment combine to create an experience unlike any other. It’s a place where nature reigns supreme. At last, I would like to thank a woman Rose in Vimat Safaris ( info@vimatsafaris.com), she tried her best to make our safari a real and a forever memories.

Od poloviny listopadu můžete v Serengeti potkat menší a větší skupiny pakoňů, zeber a gazel, které se ještě nedávno účastnili tzv. Velké migrace do Keni. Postupně se vracejí a zaplňují nejen Serengeti, ale okolí kráteru Ngorongoro (leden až duben) a dokonce i Tarangire (březen až květen).
From mid-November, you can meet smaller and larger groups of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles in the Serengeti, which until recently took part in the so-called Great Migration to Kenya. Not only the Serengeti, but the surroundings of the Ngorongoro Crater (January to April) and even Tarangire (March to May) are gradually returning and filling.

For my safari in Tanzania, I highly recommend Sirikwa Travel. Thanks to our incredible French-speaking guide and the entire company, our experience was exceptional.

From the start, our French-speaking guide welcomed us warmly and took care of us throughout the safari. His in-depth knowledge of the local fauna and flora as well as his expertise in animal spotting allowed us to experience magical moments. He was always ready to answer our questions and share interesting anecdotes about the area.

The entire Sirikwa Travel team was also very professional and attentive. They organized our itinerary so that we could make the most of our time in Tanzania. The accommodation chosen was of high quality, offering comfort and authenticity. Additionally, the staff at the lodges and camps were extremely friendly and helpful.

We were lucky enough to observe a wide variety of animals during our safaris. The highlights were meeting majestic elephants, hunting lions, graceful giraffes and herds of zebras and wildebeests during their migration. Every day was a new adventure and we were amazed by the beauty of Tanzanian nature.

Sirikwa Travel also ensured our safety throughout the safari. The vehicles used were comfortable and well maintained, which allowed us to fully enjoy our excursions. In addition, our guide was very attentive to safety rules and always kept us informed of the precautions to take.

In conclusion, I highly recommend Sirikwa Travel for a safari in Tanzania. Thanks to their exceptional French-speaking guide and their professionalism, we had an unforgettable experience. If you are looking for a unique and authentic adventure, do not hesitate to choose Sirikwa Travel.

WOW!! A childhood dream fulfilled. I can't tell you how good our experience was. I am in awe of this area. The rawness of Africa gives me so much pleasure. I just loved our 2 day safari in this vast expanse. Throughout it I heard David Attenborough's voice as if it was on TV.. The baby zebra and wildebeast had been born and were gathering on the southern plains waiting until they gathered strength to travel. It was utterly amazing. I saw a servel cat which I had always dreamed of along with the big 5 and so many cheeteahs that we lost count, Can't recommend this place any higher

We went there last week (july 2021) and we saw thousands of gnoes crossing the river Mara (4 crossings in two days). It was really spectacular. A must see in the Serengeti parc!
All guides are constantly in contact with eachother so if anyone observes a possible crossing, everyone is warned!

The migration of animals crossing the Mara River in Serengeti National Park Tanzania is one of the great experiences for any traveller. We stayed at Alex Walkers Serian Camp, a wonderful experience on its own. Their knowledgeable guides put us in perfect positions to see the wildebeests river crossings up close. Photos and videos can’t capture this spectacle with the sights, sounds and multiple dramas playing out between predators and prey. All happening in front of the majestic backdrop of the Serengeti plains. Watching the sun rise over the Serengeti as you have breakfast is unforgettable.

This is one unbelievable Wildlife Sighting! Even those who are familiar with wildlife and game drives can hardly anticipate what this spectacle is all about. Surrounded by millions of animals moving around frantically, this is one experience that has to be seen to be believed. We witnessed this in May 2022 at Serengeti and completely overwhelmed. Although the migration is predominantly about Wildebeests and Zebras, there are many other animals and birds around. We also saw the migration moving across a stream. To put it in simple words, don't miss this if you are in Serengeti.

Not long after we entered the gate to Serengeti National Park we witnessed a zebra migration of about 6,000 animals. Stretching across the horizon line, it was truly amazing to see so many animals on the move. We also witnessed a wildebeest migration. / After Tarangire and Lake Ndutu it seemed that it took longer to spy animals in the Serengeti grasslands, but the 'Hide and Seek' was fun. My husband especially liked the cheetah and leopard and my granddaughter loved the hippos at the hippo pool.

We saw leopards and lions with cubs, families of elephants and giraffes, hyenas, serval cats and 100s of thousands of wildebeast and zebras as well as dozens of other animal species. The Mara river crossing is a spectacle that everyone should see in their lifetime. The wide open plains and the incredible rock outcroppings were spectacular in and of themselves and the sunrises and sunsets were awe inspiring.

I have been to the Serengeti twice, back last November during the migration and again in February of this year after the migration headed north. Both times, there were lots of animals, although the grass is taller in February and it is a little tougher to see the animals. Saw a big 5 both times, I think the November trek was the most impressive with the tens of thousands of wildebeests and zebras. We did see numerous small cats during February. This is a Must See if you come to Tanzania!

Watching the wildebeest gather by the thousands, and make the first step down the riverbank was absolutely astounding. They looked like a river if animals flowing down to the water. I would make every effort to witness this marvel of nature. You won’t regret it.
