You will find plenty of them here.. Also good to see the crossing if you are in the right season. Best time to be here is in the wet season..

You can't see the river without visiting the park. As I went during dry season, there was not much to see. I'm planning to return just after the rainy season so I can take full advantage of the wildlife viewing at that time.

Great to stop and view the hippos or maybe even a croc! The river was a bit low when we were there but quite an experience.

The Grumeti River is used on the annual migration but can be drier as it was when we were there. Lions will use its brush for shade. Smaller pools will be used by hippos, and other animals will use the brush for hiding and food....More

So much wildlife-- unbelievable number of hippos, giant crocs, birds and other animals along the river. Lions and leopards nearby, animals drinking-- this is what it's all about!

The National Park along the Grumeti River is perhaps the most "raw" terrain I have visited with many kills. Animal Variety and number are moderate but it has the special Colubos Monkey that are not seen elsewhere. Birds viewing excellent as it is near water.

We got some great pictures of hippo's and crocodiles happily together. The Hippo's had babies, and the crocodiles where just warming up!

A great spot to view hippos and crocs. I tried the cable bridge in order to get a good photo, but was pretty nervous.

I had to see crocodiles in the Grumeti river, we crossed the river at some point and I was so scared. It was a narrow bridge no side bars and water is following and crocodiles inside but the tour guide drove us through very well...More

This doesn't look like a real question. It's an excuse for Kibo Trekking to put an advertisement up. When my family went on Safari in Tanzania, we went with Africa Dream Safari. They were fantastic and didn't have to resort... More
