It is located at the end of the Medina, impressive and worth seeing it. You can walk around the square and take some pictures...

I don't recommend Tunis , is not safe city. The peoples are looking just to take money from you, everywhere in the aeroport, in the shop, on the street are help you just if you give money. The city is very dirty, the public transport very busy and dirty.

I had high expectations before visiting tunis. Turns out scam , thiefs , pickpockets , Airbnb scammers, overpriced tourist traps and unsafe and dirty neighborhoods are some of its traits...unsanitary restaurants..dangerous streets with no safety regulations .. almost no police..sketchy streets and dead cats and rats, unvaccinated dogs and lots of dead animals on the street along with garbage burning in the middle of the street...external sewers and unregulated illegal trade are a few cons of tunis...so much trash sometimes you step on them everywhere you go ..dirty beaches that smell like mold and moss..illiegal taxi drivers that scam tourists...do not go there without booking a good hotel..and know a local...youll loose more than your money..also extremely fanatic muslim faith is practiced there..
