Scenic and tranquil - a real gem so close to Harare. Great for hiking, bike riding, driving, game viewing. New roads opened up and game is flourishing. Accommodation and camping facilities are great. Chalets have everything needed.

A surprisingly little known National Park which has so much to offer. The chalets are extremely comfortable, placed along the Umfurudzi river, the sound of the water spilling over the rocks simply enhances the relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant offers an excellent breakfast to start the...More

We throughly enjoyed our week in this park, cramming in as much hiking and birding as we could, with the bonus of a number of great caches to find - and we mostly had the place to ourselve!

A fun weekend away camping with the family. We wallowed in the natural pools in front of the campsite and went for a game drive (didn't see much). It was VERY hot.
