The Ra Ikane sunset cruise along the Zambezi river was special because the boat is limited to only 16 people and is very lovely. You sit in comfortable chairs with tables to hold the price included snacks and cocktails. The boat sits low in the water and because of its hull, can get into the grassy areas where other boats... Well organised cruise with good staaf and snacks and drinks (we didn't do the diner cruise). Saw plenty of hypos and birds and some small crocodiles. Very relaxing to do

We all know that from Victoria Falls the waters eventually flow out into the Mediterranean Sea, but this Ra Ikane boat tour is what comes before the waters cascade over the edge. Only 13 max on the boat, a bit like being on an old English Pullman train car. Seating is generous, little Individual tables for couples, a welcome drink,... More

We went on this river cruise on the last night of our visit to Victoria Falls, what a lovely relaxing experience. The boat was old but full of character as were the captain Oscar and his crew. They served us with unlimited drinks including champagne and delicious snacks while we gently sailed up and down the Zambezi watching the plentiful... More

We loved our cruise with Ra-liane! Turned out to be just the 2 of us on the boat.Captain Oscar ad guide Bangani Barman were wonderful hosts. The boat is smaller - much better than those huge dinner type boats. This means you can get closer to the animals We were served delicious snacks and whatever we wanted in terms of... More

We did the 2 hour sunset cruise that included snacks and drinks. Food was nothing to rave about and the soft drinks were served warm with lots of ice. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Very intimate and comfortable cruise. We were lucky to see Hippopotamus, elephants, crocodiles, monkeys and varied bird life. Cruise ended up being 2,5 hours long,... More

This was a lovely relaxing, elegant cruise with unlimited libations and fancy snacks. The Captain and one other staff member did a wonderful job of taking care of the 12 guests (maximum 16?) and spotting hippos, crocodiles and impala as the red ball of a sun slowly sank. Peaceful, lovely!

We decided to do a breakfast cruise as we were told that there would be no other boats out - and there weren't . All very peaceful loads of crocs , hippos, and birds, would go again.

We took the Sunset Cruise with Ra-Ikane because they have small boats that only accommodate 10 people. They also offer drinks and appetizers but that is not the selling point. It's the trip up and down the Zambezi river spotting the wildlife and then taking in the most fantastic sunset in Africa.

Sunset cruise. Nice small boat taking about 20 passengers.(not really sure on the number of passengers, but the trip was sold out and there weren't very many of us). We saw lots of tour boats on the Zambezi, but most of them were quite large. This small intimate boats was much more preferable for our tastes. Much wildlife spotted including... More
