Excellent stop seeing this lowest point in Africa. Fairly close to the Gulf of Tadjourah. Salt has been collected here by the Afar for centuries. Now the Chinese are building considerable infrastructure and will be collecting vast quantity of this natural salt!!!

I booked with Daniel a Djibouti city tour and an excursion to Lake Assal. I was extremely satisfied with both tours and with the respective guides. Daniel is also very friendly. To be recommended! Pietro Moggi, Lugano, Switzerland
