Amazing old graves at this Italian cemetery. Some with marble angels and elaborate sculptures. Really worth a stop

This is the site for travelers not for tourists. The cemetery (there is no just italian "section") shows the presence of various ethnic groups (italian, greek, jewish...) in eritrean past . The perfect place to understand the eritrean history. Do not avoid it !
