I visited the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park with my friend while in Accra. My visit was informative and enlightening. I learned of Dr. Nkruman's many writings and am looking forward to beginning to reading some of them. It is a beautiful memorial to this GREAT visionary leader....

The park is clean and enjoyable. The statues are beautiful. The museum is a room with pictures of the President Kwame Nkrumah and personal objects like: clothes, pens, books, mattress, awards… The history of his life it’s well explained and very interesting. Watch out to the little snack called “Shine on” in the park. The older told us that one... More

It is shame that such an important monument is not better maintained. The water in the pool area is dirty, all the lights and light fittings in the walls at the water display areas are gone, most probably stolen. The museum is pathetic with a few photos.

There is a saying in Ghana that goes like this: "Nkrumah never dies", and by visiting the park, one gets to know why he never dies and remains engrained in the hearts and minds of... More

The last time I visited this site in 2006, it was very well kept. The grounds were clean and well manicured and the fountains were operating. During this visit the landscape was unkempt, the fountains are not working, and there are uncovered work holes on the grounds which could be really dangerous for young children. There have been a couple... More

Beautiful and educational. The staff were very polite and friendly, ready to answer any possible questions. The grass needed a bit of trimming
