My friend and I headed to this location to see the lighthouse, but didn’t realize that this was a very rural area. There were about two guys that told our driver, to get us out of there. Very scary experience in this area.

It has been closed for renovations BUT we were told that you could pay someone to get in there if you really wanted to. We didn't... but there are lots of things to see in Jamestown besides this relic.

I could not enter the light house and just had a look outside. The harbour below is very interesting to visit. If you visit the harbour, you can also see the light house, but the light house as such is not worth a detour.

Very disappointed. Supposedly closed for renovations but didn’t appear to be any going on. Dirty & poorly kept - not welcoming to visitors. No information available on wall etc regarding lighthouse. I know it’s a poor area but more should be done to attract tourists....More

This old colonial neighborhood still holds historical facts of interest. With fishing being the main occupation of the present day locals, there's a lot to experience on a guided tour through the neighborhood. Once again, Worlanyo Tours made it possible.

We visited this area for the festival and a tour. Go get a feel of how they live you'll be amazed. Be prepared to buy the crafts. You'll get a good deal.

A buddy of mine gave me the low down on what to expect. However, once there, Jamestown was overwhelmingly draining. Samuel ran up to us and started giving talking about the history with facts. I just wanted to take it all in. With that said,...More
