The place in Madagascar to see the Indri, largest of the lemurs. Bring your bugspray and be prepared for a hike through the forest. Truly stunning, and plenty of reptiles, insects, etc. to see in addition to lemurs.

Well organised nature reserve with excellent guides. Go early in the morning to get a chance to see the Indri - and hear them calling. Spectacular and moving. Expect a long walk - we took the short route as I have a bad back! Our guide was very considerate and paced us slowly. We walked for three hours. Carry water... More
