Great place to view lemurs. Many of them were once pets....goal is to reintroduce captive born lemurs back into the wild.

They have a wide variety of lemurs in this park. The place is well maintained and I found it very interesting. Got a chance to meet king Julian and few more of its kind.

I was able to see all six of the daytime lemurs. The guide was very knowledgeable and very patient with explaining things to me and waiting for me to take pictures and videos of the lemurs having lunch, jumping or just chilling. The lemurs are able to walk around and not in cages or somehow constrained. Definitely worth the visit.... More

It takes just under an hour to get to this lovely park from Tana. A taxi should charge about 80,000 AR for the return journey. Entrance to the park is 30,000 pp. There are 7 kinds of lemurs including 2 species of Sifaka. You cannot touch them but you get very close. Our guide was excellent - he spoke great... More

We went here on the day of our arrival in Madagascar. Our guide was knowledgable and gave us all kinds of information on the animals and the plants growing here. We saw four different kinds of lemurs as well as chameleons, tortoises, butterflies and birds. We were the only visitors at the time so our visit was leisurely and pleasant.

Nice to see the ex-pet lemurs now can live freely in the park. The guide showed us different territories of different kind of lemurs. We could see the lemurs families were gathering on trees, jumping around or dancing on the ground with unique steps. Without the guide’s explanation, we never knew the ring-tailed lemurs’ character was aggressive. It was proved,... More

A tiny 5hectare preserve, but the guide tells you what you need to/want to know and you'll see 6 of the 9 types of lemurs (the other 3 are nocturnal). Only 45 minutes from town and takes about an hour to walk through, so good for a morning visit. 25k to 30k for an entry ticket.

Our guide (unfortunately can't remember his name) was very informative and his English was exceptional (my French is poor). He gave us valuable insight to the 6 types of Lemur the pro has as well as other interesting facts etc. We got up close and personal with lots of lemurs; our favourites were the Ring Tailed of course. We strolled... More

If you're in Tana and have limited time to go further up country for extended exploration, this park offers a close up opportunity to see several varieties of Lemurs.

This place is a great attraction where ex-pet lemurs/radiated tortoises have a chance of being wild(ish) again. The site is several hectares but each lemur species has its territory and the public area is quite small and easy to walk around. Most importantly, for me as a zoo keeper who has worked with lemurs for years, the public are NOT... More
