We had the privilege of being accepted to take a school class to see the Parliament Building. What an incredible structure!!! The decor is fantastic. The gentleman who escorted us was wonderfully helpful and well informed as he showed us around and explained how everything worked. We were even allowed to witness a session briefly. Very exciting for children and... More

This is worth the time spent if you can get invitation to go in. Its big its bold and its spotless. This is a new Parliament so it is in very good condition. Inside it has clean strait lines and with section just standing empty. Never the less the time frame to build this and its result is impressive.

I love monumental buildings, and parliaments are usually among my top visited monumental buildings everywhere I go! The Malawian parliamnet building and/ or entrance is well-done with friendly security guards who allow visitors to take pictures on request. Pass by the parliament buildings and take a picture!

I often go to Parliament building for work related purposes. Its a great piece of construction, with a lot of space inside and outside! My favourite is the lobby...I like open spaces! They also have a restaurant past the main chamber and as you head out the other side. Built by the Chinese, the entrance gate is the same as... More

It is a nice building in the center of the capital. It has beautiful gardens around a national monument right next door. Worth the visit.

Quite a strange thing, this enormous building in this enormously poor country. Even though this is the people's parliament, making a photo of it is strictly forbidden. But the irony here strikes twice! The parliament is build by China! The Chinese are supporting democracy! Wow.

The building is located at the city center between the botanic garden and the kamuzu memorial. It's just one nice structure with lots of police officers around it. Nor thing really special.
