This is the real Mali. You can see what the people eats and do it of the more "touristic" places. It is a very crowded place and caution should be observed. There is an area for souvenirs and tourists

This is a busy market on a quiet day. You would have to appreciate getting hassled, hot, sweaty, but thisis an African Market place at its best!

Wonderful traditional market in the middle of the city. Crowded, full of busy people, you can find whatever you can imagine, from the head of a donkey for spells, to beautiful fabrics and clothing. Food, handcrafts, tools...just walk around.

Basically somewhere to go and get ripped off. Not worth it. Everyone wants to make a buck off any foreigners. Goshhh..,. I'd avoid it. You can buy your soveniers from the stores. Not worth the hassle.
