Here you are allowed to just click some pics from afar from the opposite hill and nothing more. No much time to be spent so just... More

This was one of the drop off points of our island tour. The waterfall is spectacular and reflects the abundance of rainfall in small bouts. Our trip included the Charamel Rum Distillery, the seven coloured earths and the surrounding countryside and birds. Steve was our guide and he made the tour all the more interesting

Nothing special. You may go upstairs to have better view but generally the view is nothing spectacular,

The waterfalls are really huge and impressive. Definetely worth going there. For me, these were the biggest ever seen so far. I would not want to miss it. Plus: the 7 colored earth is just around the corner.

Worth a hike to see this beautiful natural waterfalls. On the way you will be bombarded by stalls selling local Mauritian goods, from dodos to pashminas . A truly amazing vista of greenery and natural waterfall. The views from the visitor area is stunning . Well worth a visit.

Visit options are smart. Take a zip line with landing points at 2 waterfall and 7 colours earth. Alternatively enjoy a fun ride on quad bike. Lunch options are decent and well priced.

Visited this waterfall again, the first time being 2 years ago when it was gushing. Due to lower water levels it was less so but still a natural sight. Lots of tourists stop here on the way to the seven coloured sands.

Chamarel has the highest single drop waterfall in Mauritius. It's a very picturesque spot and on the day we went you could see why, because the rain was bucketing down! Still well worth the visit.
