Mildly Interesting Museum on 2 Floors of A Victorian Mansion. The Main Floor features a Large Life-sized Display of Wildlife. Don't Miss the Display Illustrating Elephant Development (in a Back Corner). Upstairs are Similar Displays of Insects and Fish. Allow 20-30 Minutes.

It is a place to tick off if you are in Maputo. It will take about an hour to visit. It has different stuffed animals of Mozambique, mammals, fishes, etc.

There's nothing wow to see but since it is within the cultural district it is good to stopover and see it. There is a live snake show, enquire at reception upon arrival so they can direct you where you should go.

It isn't free to get in but in mts it was pretty cheap back in 2013 when I was there last. It would cost next to nothing in USD.
