I visited this township through an organized tour. Katutura shows a different side of Windhoek. It was quite a cultural experience.

I had a blast going to Katutura Township. I went there with Kato Tours Bike Ride, and the bike ride turned the experience even more fantastic. Good food, great flavour. Do not expect fancy restaurant. Its a cultural experience.

I live in the area. Even if you are driving your own car it is ok, as long as you don't have any valuables in sight.
