Approximately 38 craft stalls from rural communities, ethnic groups and projects sell Namibian handicraft here, which range from jewellery to carved tree roots. We have the freshest Namibian food and best cheesecake and apple crumble in town! Our Craft Cafe is known all over the world for its stylish and excellent food. We support Namibian micro and small enterprises, and contribute to increase income through the sale of Namibian craft. Over 4,000 producers and their families derive an income from sales of their craft. We support Namibian design and product development, which is reflected in our large range of unique and quality products. We encourage the use of environmentally friendly products and sustainable utilization of Namibian natural resources. Vendors inside the Namibia Craft Centre may stock up to 5% of non-Namibian, but African handi-craft. No goods from outside the continent may be sold inside the Craft Centre. Some handi-craft and materials are hard to come by in Namibia, which is why we have made this concession. Staff should be able to tell you exactly the origin of most goods.

This market is lovely, with lots of individual store-holders under one roof. You can weave in and out for hours. Every vendor I saw took credit cards. Because they are actual stores there is no bargaining, but this also means you don't have pushy vendors trying to rip you off and make you buy more. Most of the artisans are... More

There are lots of lovely handicrafts but those prices were much higher than elsewhere. Offcourse the place itself is nice to see and this is easy place to by handicrafts without bargain.

For those who like crafts or for everyone else. This is really a must-do, the people are very friendly and you can find very good deals on souvenirs.

You won't be disappointed if you visit the craft market! Much more than crafts-(which are really great too!) - amazing photography, Namibian books, great coffee shop- apple tart to die for. Great atmosphere. Walk out the back- some more nice shops to browse around in.

A lot of choice without too much walking around. There is a restaurant here which is great for lunch as well. Could spend 3-4 hours here at least.

We stopped by on our last day and it was perfect. The Cafe was lovely, and the centre itself offers crafts from across the country - perfect to pick up those bits you missed while on the road. Feels authentic, reasonably priced and with a huge range of crafts on offer to suit any budget.

The usual curios and knick-knacks, with the odd smattering of nice additions. Well worth a visit even on a Sunday as there is not much else open on a Sunday. We are South Africans and completely numb to the usual touristy rubbish, but despite this we found some nice things, and made a few purchases.

Great place for souvenirs. No hassles or high pressure selling. Prices seem fair, with a great selection . Secured parking area.
