This trip was an unbelievable experience. I felt like I got to experience a significant number of the highlights of Namibia in a short time including: Etosha, fish river canyon, Lüderitz (and Kolmanskop), Skeleton Coast, Sossusvlei (and Deadvlei), Swakopmund, Quiver tree, etc. I would not have been able to see so much in a short period of time. Although fast paced, I felt like we had enough time everywhere but there could have been an extra day in Swakopmund. My favourites included: climbing big daddy, game drive in Etosha, Sandwich Harbour and quad biking in the dunes, and the stares at Palmwag.

Both of our guides, Cheelo and Smith went above and beyond. They were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We had a birthday upcoming for someone and they organised a surprise birthday cake in Aus.

Overall, I believe the trip was extremely fun, great value for money and enabled me to see what I wanted to see in Namibia in such a short action packed time.

DISCLAIMER:

This is a camping trip. The trip is also quite fast paced and involves a lot of driving, to ensure all of the highlights of Namibia can be experienced.

Behind me lies a trip of 3 days in the oldest desert in the world. Every minute of it was a highlight. The base camp is very well laid out, with a pool and a bar. The tents are set up under the shade of trees, so that it is easy to tolerate even in hot temperatures. The trips, for example to Dune 45 for the sunrise, were breathtaking.
The tour guide Joseph explained everything to us well: the daily routine and interesting facts about the area. We were welcome to ask any questions we had.
Overall, it was a great experience, with many funny moments that you won't soon forget.
PS: ask the tour guide about the importance of cows in the country, it's very interesting.

We had our city trip this morning. Our guides Simon and Saka picked us up at our guesthouse. They are very friendly and speak very good english and “Dutch” (south African). They realley know everything about Windhoek and his history . We went also to the townships and when you have been there you can believe that people have to live that way. We also went to the local market and enjoyed a meao of fresh baked meat with tomato salate. We had a wonderful time with them and laughed a lot.

The nature was amazing, nice landscape and animals. Very good, if you only have a short period of time or don’t want to drive by yourself. If I would have more time, I would stay longer at each place to have more time to watch the animals and do activities in Swakopmund.

The best way to experience Namibia! Chameleon gave us the most serious, professional and exceptional experience driving around in Namibia.

Our guide/driver, Daniel was the perfect guide. Great storyteller, driver, cook and even mechanic - this guy can do anything! Always a smile on his face. He made the experience even better!!

I would most definitely recommend anyone doing a guided tour in Namibia to use Chameleon Safaris. Very good value for the price and the experience was as smooth as it can get. Cheers

The tour is a must for people who have only a little bit of time in Windhoek. I got to see the highlights and the tour guide, Simon, was awesome! He was very knowledgeable, friendly and went the extra mile.
