We had a four day tour with Primate Safaris and was greeted by our driver guide Bernard at Kigali airport. He drove us to our Kigali hotel and explained everything about the tour and also details about Kigali and Rwanda. He then told us we were going to have a city tour the next morning before our drive to Volcanoes... More

Our tour operator arranged our Gorilla trek via Primate Safari. Excellent outfit Perhaps pitches itself as mid market cost wise , which is fine Used 10 year old Landcruiser which was in excellent condition and v comfortable. The trip to the gorillas is only 65 miles but when I tracked the journey on the way back it took 2.5 hrs... More

Primate Safaris provide reasonably priced gorilla trekking experiences within Rwanda. I had a number of questions prior to my trip and adjustments were made to the itinerary etc. I have used Primate Safaris twice now and feel comfortable that all will be as expected - you are met by rep and then have driver for the rest of the trip.... We went on a 6 Day tour and it was amazing!! Our driver was great, nothing was too much to ask! And the gorilla trekking was incredible. Best of all it was supporting a great anti-poaching and conservation project.

After a two day flight from the US to Rwanda we were very happy to be met by the staff of Primate Safaris and escorted to our Kigali hotel. We had a quick orientation to the city and our upcoming schedule and even got a recommendation for a Kigali pizza restaurant. Our guide, Simba, was an awesome teacher for us.... More

After travelling for 24 hours to Rwanda, we were so happy and relieved to see two people waiting just outside customs with a sign for us! We were immediately led to our immaculate jeep and were briefed on the start of our journey as we drove to the hotel. Sam was our driver guide and he went above and beyond... More

From the moment we were met at Kigali airport until our return 4 days later, we couldn't fault the wonderful experience we had. Our accommodation both in Kigali and Volcanoes National Park was perfect. Our driver/guide Patrick was great and has an enormous amount of knowledge about Rwanda generally. The Trek was extremely well organised. Our guides Loyce and Floricien... More

Had a short trip to Rwanda to climb to see the gorillas and this was organised on the ground by primate safaris. They are locally run and are very professional. Our driver guide Bernard was patient and accomodating. He also helped to negotiate the second climb for us with the Rangers as I struggled with my breathing the first time.... More

Primate Safaris was a pleasure to deal with - very professional with timely responses to all my emails. Moses was our terrific driver and guide from Kigali up to Volcanoes National Park and he was knowledgeable, flexible and very professional. A lovely personality. On the way up we wanted to see some buildings my son's architecture firm had designed -... More

We booked via an agent - they nailed it! We were greeted at the airport by a Primate Safari rep, who gave us a very useful briefing and introduced us to our guide Sura. We spent 3 days with Sura, who took us to northern Rwanda so that we could go trekking to see the Golden Monkeys and the breathtaking... More
