You can take a taxi to the tip of the island, and watch the White and the Blue Nile mix. Fascinating. The village on the island is nice too.

It is worth it to go over and have a picnic on the banks of Tuti island. Also, to take a tuk tuk ride through the town.

Make sure you take a boat round Tuti Island to see the meeting of the Blue and White Niles. Fantastic bird watching so go early on Fri or Sat to catch some rare sightings.

While I lived in Khartoum, Tuti island was my favorite place for relaxed walk and birdwatching. Beautiful place, rich in birdlife.
