The director/MC each night has been telling these jokes for too many years, but this is a professional choreograph show. Take lots of fotos, but eat before you go. Food prices are greatly exaggerated.

Ndere Culture Centre is the home of African cultures and performing arts, constructed on land measuring 9 acres of well-maintained green, beautifully flowered walk ways and shaded by good looking evergreen trees. The center has an open air amphitheater as well as an auditorium for indoor shows. There is also an Art Gallery side by side a wonderful restaurant. The... More

Wow, wow, wow! The dancing here was spectacular. They provided a glimpse into the many tribes of Uganda and enabled us to learn more about the intriguing cultures. The dancers were amazing and the customs were equally excellent. The performance last at least 2.5 hours and included a buffet dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and highly recommend you visit... More

Our friends who are from Kampala marked this as a must do and I couldn't agree more. Be sure to get there early so you can get excellent seating as I believe its first come, first serve. The food was average, not great, not terrible and, at least for the buffet, when the refreshing of the hot trays happens, you... More

A visit to Kampala is absolutely incomplete without a night at the Ndere Centre - except you're totally impervious to the beauty of cultural entertainment. We had a great evening of graceful and energetic dancing, cultural music, good food, while the owner Mr. Stephen Rwangyeri doubled as MC and kept us reeling with laughter. It is indeed a great place... More

Thoroughly recommended way to spend an evening in Kampala. The compere was very entertaining and as well as introducing the great dance performances, he gave a geographic introduction to the different tribal groups in Uganda and their character. A bit out of the way to get to- take a taxi. Although I did not eat the meal the food looked... More

For people who think that Africa is a country, all the drumbeats and dances are probably the same too. However, the Ndere Centre gives a broad overview of Uganda's different cultures and customs, well rehearsed and choreographed and expertly moderated by Mr. Steven, who excels both as a narrator, participant and catalyst to draw in members of the crowd. When... More

We attended the Sunday night family dinner show which included a delicious dinner and show featuring dozens of dancers. You seat outside and enjoy dinner while watching, and learning about the Uganda cultures. The show was a good 2 hours long.

Wonderful entertainment while taking a look at history reincarnate. The moderator is excellent and knows how to draw the crowd in, funny and charismatic. I would definitely go again!

We came to Kampala from USA to visit our son who was working there and getting married there. He wanted us to have some tourist experience as well as introduce us to African cultures. We went on a Friday evening for an outdoor show which included an optional buffet supper of African-style foods, which we purchased. The food was plenteous... More
