While visiting the Library on a cold winter day, we asked for a tour of IKE'S childhood home. Granted! We learned so much about the President as he grew up in this farmhouse. See his mom's early day "modern" kitchen.

This is a must see if you're really into American history, especially WWII. As others have stated, a whole lot of the museum is about Eisenhower's service rather than his presidency. It starts out slow, with not many artifacts to look at but just plaques...More

The museum was really nice, but at times you might forget you were at a presidential museum and were at a WWII museum instead. I know it's all intertwined, but having three kids with us, by the time we got into Eisenhower as a president,...More

This is a great presidential museum, but there is actually little about his presidency. It's mostly about his war service, which is interesting. There are some things he did during his presidency that weren't mentioned at all. There's a great section on Mamie. The chapel...More

The museum and library were a little disappointing. I thought it would be larger and "more to it". It is to be remodeled and I'm happy to hear that.

If you are in the area and do not visit here, then you are missing out. Lots of interesting stuff for history buffs. Get the Presidential Library Passport if you haven't already.

We visited on a Friday and it was surprisingly not crowded. It was very interesting but way too much reading before you get to the information about Eisenhower that was the main reason we came. There should be more modern technology used. The Chisholm Trail...More

If you're interested in viewing artifacts in storage (assuming there are some that are not on display), your best bet is to contact the museum directly (visit the website for contact information). However, the grounds... More

Depends how much you like to read all the printed materials attached to the exhibits. Most of your time will be spent in the museum as there are 5 sections with a lot to see, especially if WW11 interests you. We spent almost... More
