The Garden of Dreams, a neo classical historical garden, is situated in the midst of Kathmandu city, Nepal. The Garden's design has much in common with formal European gardens: paved perimeter paths, punctuated by pavilions, trellises, and various planting areas, surrounded by a sunken flower garden with a large pond at its center. It is an architectural landscape that encourages the visitor to stroll around and discover the Garden's treasures from many different vantage points.

For Rs200 entry fee it was just ok. It's a big garden, that's all. In and out in 10 minutes.. not really worth a visit.

Nice clean garden with restaurant for a cup of coffee and a quiet place to read a book or have a picnic But don't expect Hyde Park London - it's small, quaint, really under maintained and run down so after a few visits really forgettable...More

OK, this is a very nice garden but you can walk around the entire thing in ten minutes. Granted you will take longer to view the various plants, trees and pavilions. Lots of little squirrels running about. Fine to visit for a short interlude. 200...More

This is an excellent place in the heart of kathmandu to find a peaceful place. The garden is simply breath taking. Must visit place if you are in Kathmandu.

After a couple of days in one of the most polluted and dusty places I have ever visited, it was a nice change to be surrounded by flowers and squirrels :)

This beautiful garden is located in the middle of a traffic-riddled street full of pollution, and its paradise. Loved everything about it except the restaurant there, which had slow service and the food wasn't at all great, asides from being overly priced.

It is more expensive than cafes on the streets, that is definitely. But if money is not issue and you want to escape the dust and sounds from the streets, than it is a good place to do so.
