Took the bus from Pokhara and headed up the hill bird watching. Stopped off at Bergnas Coffee for a break. Great views of the lake and the snow capped mountains before the clouds came in. Begnas and Rupa lakes are close and more natural and less polluted than Fewa. You can touch nature from very close, fantastic land scape and greenary.

A couple of my friends and I spent a couple days here and really enjoyed ourselves. We rented some Kayaks and took them out onto the lake for a couple hours, which was incredibly relaxing! I highly recommend this.

Located few kilometres away from the city, the Begnas lake is one of the seven lakes that Pokhara valley has. It is surrounded by hills and forests. Fishing is a popular activity. The views of the lake from the view tower of Sundardanda is amazing.
