About 15 years after my last Paddle Nepal trip I went again, this time with my wife and boys aged 5&7. On my last trip there was a 7 year old going round the world with his mum and was having a great time so we decided to risk it. We went on the lower Seti and the boys had two of their best days of their lives, and we had a great time too.
Once they had built up their confidence the guides offered them the chance to jump in for a swim and play on some of the long flat stretches between rapids, they also got to ride on the back of the safety kayak and practice being rescued by it. Obviously, the rapids were the highlights, but it was all great and I’d definitely recommend it for even fairly small kids, so long as they are happy in water (ours are having swimming lessons but are only really beginners.)
The food etc was very impressive, even more so given it all came in the raft with us, to the untrained eye the equipment looked in good condition too.
We’ll definitely go again next time we are in Nepal.

We booked the four day kayaking clinic in their office in Pokhara. Since we were two, we were even able to choose our own starting date and did not have to stick to the fixed dates on their website. Thanks to that we could plan the trip perfectly with our other adventures in Nepal.
On the first day we paddled on the lake and learned some basic techniques. We were a group of four participants and had two guides on the lake. This allowed very good coaching. We learned a lot during the first hours of practice. However, it would have been great to have an extra hour on the lake to practice the roll some more.
The second day of the course started at the office in Pokhara. When we arrived, the coach was already packed with all our gear and after locking our luggage in the office, we directly left to the river. After a comfortable ride, the guides made everything ready and our tour started. On the river every participant had his own guide. This was perfect for our saftey and we learned a lot during the one to one coaching!
On the river we stopped everyday for lunch. The guides provided delicious salads and cold meals for lunch. We were even offered cookies and watermelon, while they were preparing the fresh meals.
In the afternoons, we stopped at beautiful river beaches. The guides set up a beautiful camp, which included our private tents, a big tarp for the guides, a big table for the buffet and a well built latrine.
They brought a big stove to cook our dinner. We were very surprised by the super high quality of the food we were provided. The first day we were served delicious pasta with three different sauces (bolognese, vegan tomato vegetable, vegetable curry). The second evening we were treated with the most delicious french fries we had for a long time and pasta with cheese sauce. For breakfast we were offered a big buffet including toast with butter, jams, peanutbutter, omelette/scrambled eggs, porridge and even more.
The rapids we passed got more and more intense during the trip on river. Thanks to the very good one to one coaching, we felt were safe the whole time and had a lot of fun!
Thank you very much Paddle Nepal for an unforgettable experience and the perfect service!

WE ARE A FAMILY OF 4 FROM Australia and the Lower Seti overnight camping trip was perfect for us. Raju and his team were so highly professional, we always felt safe, the food was superb and this was one of the super highlights of our few weeks in Nepal. Such a brilliant way to see Nepal from the water whilst travelling from Pokhara to Chitwan and avoiding the roads. The overnight camping was perfect!
Thanks to Raju and his team: highly recommended!!

We did an overnight white water rafting trip on the lower seti with our three kids, youngest age 5. Pale nepal got it right. Team were really professional with everything covered for a proper adventure while keeping the kids safe
Raju was a great lead and the two kayak's that accompanied us (really sorry I forgot names) took the kids out on the back for some river adventures. We all felt we were in good hands meant we could all enjoy an amazing trip dien the river.
The camping spot and facilities were spot on too.
Thank you paddle Nepal and the team!

This was an absolutely perfect trip for a family to truly experience the best of rafting, camping and nature in Nepal. Camping on the beach was priceless and sleeping under the stars was a bonus. Kids swam nonstop in the river and we all felt so so safe with the team. All meals were taken care of, and it was so ideal. Thank you to Paddle Nepal!

Thank you so much to Paddle Nepal and most importantly our amazing crew Rabi Kiran Dipsan and Ujjal. This is my 8th trip to Nepal and I've done rafting and kayaking many rivers here but this was the first time with my family (wife and 11-year-old daughter and Nepali friend who is like a brother) and it was their first time. We had such a great trip. The company was very professional with well-maintained gear and good safety procedures (I run a multinational scuba diving company so know the importance of these). But I must mention again the crew who were the best ever. Thank you so much. A special shout out to Rabi who took the time to stitch together some footage and put it against a Nepali song I've learnt that we sang around the campfire at night.
We really appreciate your care for my family and the great time we had. We will be back!

I did the four day white water kayak clinic in March. I was the only person on the trip and appreciated that the company ran the trip with only one person. The river conditions were perfect for me as I have kayaked on flat and sea water but not on rapids. The guide Som was brilliant - highly competent and very friendly. I felt very safe and was entertained with his many kayaking stories! Wild camping by the river was a lot of fun and the team bought all the gear and set up and packed down quickly and professionally. The only slight improvement could have been the food which, as it was just me on the trip, was a bit cobbled together from granola bars and instant noodles. But overall a very good experience that I am really pleased I did.

Fantastic Kalighandaki 3-day trip!! We run rivers ourselves in the states and have done a few commercial trips as well. Our head guide ‘Rambo’ and his crew were wonderful, entertaining, safe, helpful, and entertaining. Food is great!! These guys work smart and hard. Exotic put-in and take-out, memorable bus rides to/fro. Ranks as one if my fav river trips ever. Two suggestions: put a label on personal dry bags and let clients clip helmet/PFDs to bag each eve so every morning clients don’t have to start over getting sized with PFD, helmets. Clients: the provided ‘mattress’ is a stiff foam pad, hardly softer than the hard sand. If you’re traveling with an inflatable pad, bring it!!

Amazing 1/2 day rafting trip… the guides are professional skill-wise with Nepali sensibility. Rafts were of high quality and for every 4 there were 3 support- 2 on the raft and 1 with a kayak. The instructions and support were great. It was a little more expensive but we felt very safe. I also highly recommend Rabi our tour lead… we hope to be back soon 🙏🏽

We spontaneously booked half day rafting without previous experience. Next day we met the fellow participants - a bunch of charming senior travellers - and boarded on a super fun adventure. It was not a boring boat ride for sure! While we managed to manoeuvre through white water currents, the boat of the second team went upside down after a collision with a rock. It happens - and is part of the challenge. Nevertheless, we always felt safe and well guarded by the competent team of Paddle Nepal :)

Hello!! We, a group of 3 people planning to do the trishuli river raffting on 25th Dec. Is it possible to do that on the way from pokhara to nagarkot? Do you have any package with transport? If yes then how much it will cost?
Written December 2, 2017
For the way it’s better to ask Peddle Nepal. You leave your big luggage or in your hotel in Pokhara or in the Office of Paddle Nepal untill you come back - for free. You take only a little backpack with you on the raft.

hello whats your price for the pokhara?express package me n my husband planning to visit for 7days
Written September 19, 2017
Namaste.
Our Pokhara Express Package is currently $170 USD; however, it is subject to change based on the paragliding part of the package fluctuation.
We personally operate the 1/2 day Upper Seti Rafting part of this trip, and we can guarantee the cost of this; however, we outsource to local reputable paragliding companies who are currently fluctuating their pricing without much notice, making it difficult to guarantee pricing too far in advance.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Thanks.

hi, am reaching on 12th June 2017. any one day rafting activity?
how much it would cost me for a single person?
Written June 10, 2017
There's a full day rafting trip on the Trisuli river that costs abt USD57 (but that was in april)- check out their website for the prices. If you haven't booked the activity in advance, chances of you getting a spot are very slim.

Hi,
My husband and I are planning to visit Nepal in December and planning to stay in Nagarkot initially, and then go to Pokhara. Our date of travel is approximate 3/4/5 December.
Is it possible to take the "Trisuli River Rafting" package from Nagarkot to Pokhara ?
If it is, Can you arrange pickup from Nagarkot? Or do we have to arrange it on our own ?
Written November 25, 2016
Namaste.
Thanks for your interest in joining us on the Trisuli River Rafting adventure. It would be possible to join us from Nagarkot if you are willing to departu very early in the morning - maybe as early as 5am. This would also require an upgrade transportation.
However, I am afraid that we do not have any availability on these days. We can take you our our Upper Seti River Rafting adventure when you are in Pokhara if you like. Its an excellent half day alternative just a short drive from Lakeside.
I hope this information is helpful. If you wish to book the Upper Seti trip, please email us.
Thank you very much.

Hello. I will be in Pokhara in October and was wondering what options there are for fishing with Paddle Nepal. I am travelling alone and would like to do a rafting, fishing trip. Will it be possible to be squeezed into a group? Also what are the costs like?
Thanks.
Written September 24, 2015
Namaste,
Thanks you for your email. Typically we only offer custom group fishing trips.
We may be able to help you with a fishing / rafting adventure near the end of October.
Please note that we do not provide fishing equipment, so you must bring your own. We do have guides with experience, but very limited equipment.
If you are keen to join us, best to email us.
Thank you very much.

hi, planning to visit Nepal arriving Feb 20 departing Feb 25, want to go either rafting or kayaking, (I am an intermediate boater with class 3 and some -4 experiences). Recommendation will be welcome Arrived in KTM the afternoon of Feb 20. Thanks

Hi Mazy!
I went there in October right after the rainy season, so the waters were high, and the river was wide, with giant waves. It was my second time kayaking class 3. Paddle Nepal did one to one paddling on Trishuli, upper section for me. Cost me $170 for 3 days with Eco camp stay !first rapid by the briedge was called something like "death" , super fun! Lunch point half way between Kathmandu and Phokara!I rolled for the first time in combat to my surprise on 'mugli' rapid -giant wave. There are lots of rapids with undercurrent were it's easy to flip but otherwise it's very good kayaking. I would not recommend rafting this river, very boring !
