Paddle Nepal are an incredible company - we just did the 2 day seti river rafting and had a great time. They had been recommended to us by other tourists we had met in Nepal. The staff are really professional, we had a briefing the evening before and had good safety briefings before we started. I felt really safe and had a brilliant time with the team and others on the trip. We joined 7 other people who were rafting or kayaking and camped overnight on a beautiful beach and they made us really tasty lunches, dinner and breakfast. They helped us then get out bus onto Kathmandu too!

My wife and I went Upper Seti and Trisuli rafting and Canyoning with Paddle Nepal. I
They’re very slick operators with both friendly and experienced staff.
Previously we had been rafting on the Zambezi river in Zambia. The Upper Seti is different, but in a technical way comparatively. We thoroughly enjoyed the rafting and there was a good opportunity to jump off a cliff into the river midway through (dangerous section of the river is avoided on raft at this point).
The Trisuli river is more family friendly, with gentile rapids in comparison, less rocks and much wider. We did this a part of their Ultimate 2 Day Adventure package, coupled with Canyoning. We stopped for lunch at a great restaurant which serves delicious food. The guides also brought fresh bananas, oranges and water on the raft to enjoy, whilst taking in the views.
After rafting we were then transferred to the adventure camp for the night. Such a cool space, set up for having a great time socially. Fitted with a bar area, pool table, darts board, speakers and plenty of seating space. The sleep accommodation for us was situated next to a stream. It was a sheltered stand up tent with mattresses, pillows and sleeping bags - very comfortable. It was nice to be able to fall asleep to the sound of rushing water from the stream.
For the evening meal the guides prepared a macaroni cheese and mushroom sauce, pasta, French fries and vegetables which were very delicious. We were able to have beers, soft drinks and water also.
The second day we went canyoning - 10-15 minute drive from the camp. It was a challenging trek up to the waterfalls, but manageable. From there we started sliding, abseiling and jumping our way down. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and our guides Jeevan, Nishan and Dipesh could not have been more supportive and encouraging throughout. It is one of the best things I have done, and would highly recommend it.
The experience was really made by the guides, without their care and attention to our experience, it would not have been as enjoyable. Paddle Nepal can be proud of the level of professionalism they have fostered.

We traveled from Canada to Nepal for a three week visit. Paddle Nepal had been recommended to us by friends, so we reached out ahead of time and booked the 2-day Adventure Package {rafting and canyoning}. We had a party of six participating - all of us around sixty years of age, with no mobility issues.
All of the booking and communication was easy via email.
We traveled to Pokhera to spend a few days at Hotel Karuna, ahead of the Adventure Trip. We met at the Paddle Nepal office the evening before our trip and the staff reviewed everything we would need to bring with us and answered all our questions.
The next morning they bussed us to our drop-in point on the Trisuli River and we started our rafting trip. It was fun and adventuresome! Santos and Raju were our main guides and they were extremely professional and well-prepared. Along the way, the crew made us a fantastic lunch which we ate on a sand bar, before completing our raft journey at Camp Chhimkesory.
We stayed overnight at camp Chhimkesory - it was delightful. Santos took us around a tour of the site, as well as to visit some of the local neighbours. It was a very up close and personal visit. Dinner was again spectacular! In fact, the Dal Bhat they prepared for us at camp was the BEST we tasted in Nepal.
Next morning, after a hearty breakfast, they bused us up to the waterfalls for canyoning. They decked us out in all the right gear, got us acclimated to the water and then it was time to teach us about abseiling, safe jumping and sliding down waterways. The canyoning was definitely exhilarating and perhaps a little bit out of everyone's comfort zone, but again, Santos and Raju made sure we had a safe time.
We want to thank everyone at Paddle Nepal for giving us a spectacular two-day trip. It was so much fun and all of the management and staff at Paddle Nepal should be commended; they are a well-oiled machine and know how to provide visitors with an outstanding time.
We highly recommend you contact them if you are looking to book an adventure tour, while in Nepal. Namaste - Jim & Jeannie

3 day Kaligandaki River raft, and 1 day canyoning.
Raju the lead guide is absolutely amazing, friendly, kind, highly experienced and very funny. Super professional company using modern gear, which is not always the case in Nepal.
They do not cut corners, they had some of the best food I've tasted in Nepal, along with transport that runs on time and highly effective logistics.
Super impressed

3-day 2-night Kaligandaki was so great last year, we came back and did it again! Ram, Sayas, Govinda, Nishan, Purbachane, and the whole Paddle Nepal team gave us a safe and exciting river trip, with great food, splashes, and food. We have so enjoyed getting to know these guys and have been so impressed with their professionalism, friendliness, swift water skills, attention to detail, and hard work. This is the only river company we’d ever use in Nepal - they are simply fantastic! Thanks for another great time on the water!

We went rafting with Paddle Nepal at Upper Seti river. It was great fun for experienced rafters. Not recommended for first timers due to the rapids. Good safety instruction, two kayakers for extra safety.

Thank you so much to Paddle Nepal and most importantly our amazing crew Rabi Kiran Dipsan and Ujjal. This is my 8th trip to Nepal and I've done rafting and kayaking many rivers here but this was the first time with my family (wife and 11-year-old daughter and Nepali friend who is like a brother) and it was their first time. We had such a great trip. The company was very professional with well-maintained gear and good safety procedures (I run a multinational scuba diving company so know the importance of these). But I must mention again the crew who were the best ever. Thank you so much. A special shout out to Rabi who took the time to stitch together some footage and put it against a Nepali song I've learnt that we sang around the campfire at night.
We really appreciate your care for my family and the great time we had. We will be back!

Amazing 1/2 day rafting trip… the guides are professional skill-wise with Nepali sensibility. Rafts were of high quality and for every 4 there were 3 support- 2 on the raft and 1 with a kayak. The instructions and support were great. It was a little more expensive but we felt very safe. I also highly recommend Rabi our tour lead… we hope to be back soon 🙏🏽

We spent a leisurely two days rafting down the lower Seti River with Paddle Nepal… The river is excellent for families and people who do not want adventurous class 4 and 5 rapids… these were class two and class three rapids… Paddle Nepal did an excellent job on the river, as well as preparation of the meals, and we stayed at a pleasant beach campsite for the night… The guides were great, and I would highly recommend this company.

The most amazing adventure for the whole family! We did 2 days Lower Seti rafting (overnight camping) with our 6- and 9-year olds and it was just perfect. The way they considered our kids was so lovely and they encouraged our little one so gently and even gave her a paddle at some point just so that she could feel being part of the group. These guys were truly professionals and they took every - and I really mean every - little detail into consideration. They made us super delicious food when we had our lunch break and at the campsite too. We were even offered cold beer, coke, campfire marshmellows and popcorn! In addition, they set up a toilet tent on the campsite (with toilet paper) and dishwashing and handwashing stations. Just wow!
Would definitely recommend! We did a couple level 3 rapids but felt very safe the whole time. They gave the kids also right-sized equipment and did a safety briefing for us. With kids this was just enough kind of level of excitement (we have also done level 4 with adults in another country and it was fun but also way more risky). We were also jumping into the water every now and then and it was super relaxing.
I heard from some other people that their experience with another company was not nearly as good. If you are looking for a perfect rafting experience in Nepal, this is it!

Hello!! We, a group of 3 people planning to do the trishuli river raffting on 25th Dec. Is it possible to do that on the way from pokhara to nagarkot? Do you have any package with transport? If yes then how much it will cost?

For the way it’s better to ask Peddle Nepal. You leave your big luggage or in your hotel in Pokhara or in the Office of Paddle Nepal untill you come back - for free. You take only a little backpack with you on the raft.

hello whats your price for the pokhara?express package me n my husband planning to visit for 7days

Namaste.
Our Pokhara Express Package is currently $170 USD; however, it is subject to change based on the paragliding part of the package fluctuation.
We personally operate the 1/2 day Upper Seti Rafting part of this trip, and we can guarantee the cost of this; however, we outsource to local reputable paragliding companies who are currently fluctuating their pricing without much notice, making it difficult to guarantee pricing too far in advance.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Thanks.

There's a full day rafting trip on the Trisuli river that costs abt USD57 (but that was in april)- check out their website for the prices. If you haven't booked the activity in advance, chances of you getting a spot are very slim.

Hi,
My husband and I are planning to visit Nepal in December and planning to stay in Nagarkot initially, and then go to Pokhara. Our date of travel is approximate 3/4/5 December.
Is it possible to take the "Trisuli River Rafting" package from Nagarkot to Pokhara ?
If it is, Can you arrange pickup from Nagarkot? Or do we have to arrange it on our own ?

Namaste.
Thanks for your interest in joining us on the Trisuli River Rafting adventure. It would be possible to join us from Nagarkot if you are willing to departu very early in the morning - maybe as early as 5am. This would also require an upgrade transportation.
However, I am afraid that we do not have any availability on these days. We can take you our our Upper Seti River Rafting adventure when you are in Pokhara if you like. Its an excellent half day alternative just a short drive from Lakeside.
I hope this information is helpful. If you wish to book the Upper Seti trip, please email us.
Thank you very much.

Hello. I will be in Pokhara in October and was wondering what options there are for fishing with Paddle Nepal. I am travelling alone and would like to do a rafting, fishing trip. Will it be possible to be squeezed into a group? Also what are the costs like?
Thanks.

Namaste,
Thanks you for your email. Typically we only offer custom group fishing trips.
We may be able to help you with a fishing / rafting adventure near the end of October.
Please note that we do not provide fishing equipment, so you must bring your own. We do have guides with experience, but very limited equipment.
If you are keen to join us, best to email us.
Thank you very much.

Hi Mazy!
I went there in October right after the rainy season, so the waters were high, and the river was wide, with giant waves. It was my second time kayaking class 3. Paddle Nepal did one to one paddling on Trishuli, upper section for me. Cost me $170 for 3 days with Eco camp stay !first rapid by the briedge was called something like "death" , super fun! Lunch point half way between Kathmandu and Phokara!I rolled for the first time in combat to my surprise on 'mugli' rapid -giant wave. There are lots of rapids with undercurrent were it's easy to flip but otherwise it's very good kayaking. I would not recommend rafting this river, very boring !
