This is a short and beautiful trek within 5-7 days you can experience of all the mountains glimpses from this hill. Snow capped mountains like Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fishtail. Early in the morning around 4;45 Am you have to wake up and walk to the top to see the sunrise view for about 45 min.

When I read all the reviews etc it said that the Poon Hill trek was for all levels of fitness so Im thinking,Hmm yes we can do it.We are both in our 50's and smokers and of relative fitness. We started out and when we were due to stop for the first night we decided to keep going as it had... More

The crossover of golden sunrise and perfectly white snow mountain forms a magnificent view. This is what you cannot miss during Poon Hill trekking ! Even though early waking up in a very early morning, it is totally worth it !!! You can only amaze the beauty of nature when the snow mountain turning into golden after the touch by... More

We were 2 friends. and it took us: for me: 55 minutes to climb up my friend: 1:15h The temperature was about 6 degree Celsius. A bit cold at the beginning.. but after 10-15 minutes.. you are... I had never trekked before and was unsure if my stamina could handle it but it did. The first day was hard....so many steps but it got easier and we ended up going all the way to ABC. Poon Hill was an excellent way to ease us in. Would definitely recommend :)

This review is a hard one . . Okkkk . . It is awesome. . . Gotta be there 30 minutes before sunrise. If you have limited time, and you are going to Annapurna Base Camp, etc . . you do not need to make the detour to Poon Hill. I think Poon Hill adds 3 days? Double check me... More

Breathtaking scenery which is worth the effort! We hired a local as a Porter at the start of the trek in the village. He was absolutely amazing, so kind and really cared about us. We stayed with families on the trek and experienced some fantastic home cooked food. This is by far one of the best treks I have ever... More
