Amongst our many tours this was a last minute one of which we were not quite so prepared for. We walked the whole length to the top of which we thought it would be very easy and it was the complete opposite being quite challenging...More

Row across the lake and then a good walk up to the top - the views are amazing and the wildlife on the lake (birds) is wonderful. A good warm up walk for trekking!

Take the boat over from lakeside and hike up. The trees and flowers on the way up are worth the climb. Go on a good weather day because the views of the Annapurna from the Temple are spectacular.

You can see the big mountains if it is not cloudy. Also you have a great view over the Phewa Lake and Phokara. The pagoda is great and it looks really luxurious in this location. You can go there by walking through a jungle or...More

A good walk from lakeside. Can’t say much for the view on the walk up but once you’re there (especially if it is a clear day) the view is pretty cool. Cafes at the top if you want to take it all in. The actual...More

We shared a taxi from lakeside for 1,600 rupees. Went to temple, Davis falls, cave and Tibetan village. 3 hour trip, well worth visiting all.

We towed across the lake and walked up the many steps to reach the Peace Pagoda. Enjoyed a little Japanese Buddhist drumming and chanting, then strolled around the pagoda, enjoying the “silence” they ask for on all the signs. There are great views over Pokhara...More

It is 1 hour climb in the forest after crossing the lake with a boat. Every step up gives you a better look over the lake the city and the mountains around. When you get to the top dont come down the same way. Walking...More

This was one of my favorite places to visit in Pokhara. We hired a scooter which barely made it to the top of the hill - I’d suggest a motorbike or car/taxi as a more reliable form of transport - as the roads are quite...More

To reach the Peace Temple we took a row boat from Pokhara and then climbed the hundreds of steps to reach the top. The walk took approximately 35 minutes with a few stops on the way. Once at the top it was very quiet with...More

You can catch a boat over and walk up the hill- it takes about 30-45mins (it’s 800m climb) or you can go by road & catch a bus or taxi then walk a few hundred metres to the temple.

You can drive most of the way. There is still a short walk and lots of stairs.
