Interesting old street in the heart of Anping. Nice to have a walk here even after sunset. I recommend you to try shrimp crackers and oyster rolls.

a lot to see. a lot to eat. just like any other night market in taiwan. (well, almost) but it will be a bit crowded as there will a lot inconsiderate people who likes to stand in the middle of the road discussing whether to stop in front of the stall and buy that food.

This is a lovely street with a nice market to match. However, the most beautiful thing on the street is a shop called "Owl Depot", which is dedicated to owls. It features two stories with thousands of different owls of all shapes and sizes. Absolutely wonderful!!!

There's plenty of temples in the surrounding area, it's near the old fort, and it's a bustling old street with lots of choice!

If you want the night market type experience, but only have time during the day, this is a good substitute. They'll have a lot of the traditional fares, as well as some random merchandise. Might as well swing by if you will be visiting the Old Fort and/or the Treehouse.

It is a fun place to hangout where there are a lot of shops that sell traditional food and craft. It's an eye-opening experience and the atmosphere is great.

Rustic street next to the old fort, we dropped by after our visit to the old fort. Not bad. There is a old fig tree with lots of sparrows, interesting.

Pros: 1. Anping Old Street / Yanping Old Street is a 3 minutes walk from Anping Old Fort so you won't have problems finding it. 2. There are some special street snacks sold here that are worth trying, such as coffin toasts (a thick slice of fried bread containing gravy and ingredients), champion cakes (sweet treat with flavours like sesame...
