We climbed up the mountain to get a sunset view of the city. It was a really hot summer day and we were sweating like crazy. I think this would be much more enjoyable in cooler months.

We really recommend this place. It is best to climb up the mountain when it is turning to be evening. We recommend to take a lot of water and dress in light clothes.

The hike is close to the subway station and is not very heavy. It takes 15-20 minutes to go to the top. You have a nice view from the city and the Taipei101 building.
