One of the few remaining old Taipei homes, this charming building was meticulously dismantled and rebuilt on new land in 1984.

One of the best place in Taipei, it's worth it, but a little hard to find. Quiet and nicely preserved historic home with beautiful architecture.

We have visited it on the same day of Confucius and Baoan temples. We took the MRT to Yuanshan stop and we had a nice but long walk through Taipei Expo Park, Flora Expo Park and Xinsheng Park. This is a nice (and free!) place...More

A little far from other sights in Taipei and not in very close walking distance from MRTs. The place itself is pleasant but we were not wowed and were only there about 15 minutes. If you don't have long in Taipei I'd recommend you give...More

I expected it to be more of a home home. I thought there were actually rooms you could tour with a guide, but there just these small halls displaying period items, but still interesting none the less. The actual home is not very big. That...More

We had a lot of fun on our visit here. There were some fun caves for the kids to walk through, and I loved the greenhouse and cool clock. There was a very pretty bridge and the boys jumped over it. We took a bus...More

It had been several years since we last visited the Lin An-Tai old homestead. What a surprise! What originally was just an old house has now been expanded to include a garden and pond, as well as a "climbing hill" in the front. Add to...More

This is a really nice place to visit if you want to avoid the masses of people and want to have a look at traditional Taiwanese houses. The little park invites for a stroll while the house shows how people lived in the past. It...More
