Lots of tea restaurants. Watch out for thunderstorms. Gondola operations are suspended during thunderstorms.

There are little street stalls but it is a nice get away from the bustling city of Taipei, while taking the metro, you can have a nice view of the rural area of the city

You can reach the top by taking Shuttle bus at nominal cost of NT$ 15 from Zoo MTR station or go by Gondola which costs NT$ 120. Nice place with eateries , hicking tracks. It will be fun with friends and family.

Btw, we had the hotspring bath in Beitou.. In the room,there were complimentary tea, coffee and water available. Another round of complimentary tea and dessert was served on another floor at the end of the session.
