Jao Ho Street has become a secondary road and the business has also declined. Therefore, the government set up a night market in 1987. It is the second tourist night market in Taipei.

This night market offer Taiwan foods. Many foods here are suggested in the guidebook such as papaya milk, pork buns, pearl milk tea. I found that the pepper pork bun had a good taste with a crispy taste outside and the pork inside was OK....More

We have been to Raohe before as a couple but this time we went there with a baby on pram. Although the lane is quite small, we managed to navigate through. There are plenty of nice food to try.

The main attraction is the Pepper BUN stand at the beginning of the street. By the way use exit 5 ( not exit 1 as shown inside the subway station) will take you right in front of the market. Probably the most diverse of the...More

Honestly this was probably the least impressive night market I visited in Taipei. It's on the smaller side and is most famous for its black pepper buns, which I'm actually not a fan of. There's definitely still a variety of vendors though and for that...More

Visited this place on a Saturday evening. Place was super crowded. Food was tasty, albeit repetition as you walk down Raohe. Do look out for the angus beef cube, blow torched to a slight charred but juicy texture, and seasoned with rose salt. Yummy!!
