We want to offer spa-goers a professional, clean, and affordable experience. We emphasize the quality of our professional staff, our spa products, and our cleanliness. Supplies are ordered in smaller batches to ensure freshness when they are used, herbal balls are never re-used and fresh towels are changed for each guest. These are some of our commitments to provide you with the best services, at reasonable prices.

We have two branches conveniently located for public transportation. (Right next to BTS exit!) The first one is opposite to the Emporium Department Store and the other one is near Asoke Junction opposite to Terminal 21 Department Store.

Great location next to Asoke BTS and Sukhumvit MRT stations

My hubby and I visited the place 2 times in 3 days. Tried 2-hr Thai massage the first time, the therapists were great and know exactly what to do with travellers' weary bodies... read more

Urban Retreat has been my choice of spa for a good massage whenever I visit Bangkok. However, I have noticed that price has been increasing over the last 4 years. Do not mind paying for it if it comes with better service and good masseurs. My most recent visit last week was really disappointing. The masseurs assigned to me and... More

Booked their 2hr Oriental Package during my trip to Bangkok, and the experience was simply excellent! Reception at the Asok branch was professional and efficient; all staff encountered were able to communicate in English too. Had my feet cleansed before the massage, bottled water, clean clothes to change into, and lockers within the rooms to keep my valuables. It was... More

I had one hour free from work so decided to drop by for a massage at Urban retreat Promphong branch. First time here. the receptionist was not professional talking to a customer - not very polite and asked for upfront payment (which is ok but the way she said it wasn't pleasant at all) so I paid 1,000 baht for... My hubby and I visited the place 2 times in 3 days. Tried 2-hr Thai massage the first time, the therapists were great and know exactly what to do with travellers' weary bodies. The treatment rooms were clean and quiet on 2nd floor, had great experience thus return 2 days later. We had Relax Package (1-hr foot massage, 1-hr Thai... More

We took one of the promotion packages (scrub + oil). Given that the prices were at spa level, so we expected high level service as well. The therapists were not skinny, so they had the necessary strength to give us a good oil massage. Disposable panties and shower were available. The rooms were clean, in fact, the Asoke branch is... I just went to their sister outlet at Phrom Phong (one BTS stop away but it has no listing) and it was terrible. We did a 2 hour thai massage and by the first hour, I was soooo bored! The therapist had no idea what she was doing and I honestly think she was also really bored. The whole session... More

I went to Urban Retreat twice within 3 days. The place is clean and the therapists are good. The first time I did a honey and milk massage (THB 850 for 60 mins). I got a single room. The therapist will ask you to shower first before the massage. They will provide you with shower gel and towel. The second... More

Prebooked one of the most expensive spa package for husband and myself. When we reached there and informed the receptionist about our booking, next thing she asked for was payment, nothing else. Well it's ok, maybe the spa was busy so no time to serve properly. "Cupped" water was given but it was not very "spa like" especially when you... More

From the minute we walked in we were treated with smiling faces. We had booked an oriental package which lasted two hours. The masseuses knew what they were doing and were very professional in their work. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend this place.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
