The heart of the city is a mecca of commercialism. Surrounded by huge malls and alleyways of tiny boutiques and markets, Siam is a favorite of Bangkok’s fashion conscious youth.

Overall fun place to look for cute local gifts for friends. They have a lot poorly designed clothing but it was fun to see all the little trinkets and local foods. Everything is fairly inexpensive

a square filled with little shops selling trendy contemporaryitems from clothes, to shoes (limited edition converse shoes can be found here) to acessories. Eateries, however needs work. standard fare of food that is palatable, but definitely not memorable.

I was disappointed with how MBK had changed, no designer handbags for small prices, looking more like a US Mall than the fun place it used to be, I headed across the walk way to Siam Square, and continued on to my old haunts, which...More

There's 2 rows of flea market outside. Mostly shops for ladies clothes/accessories. Seemed decent at around 200baht region. There're some food stores as well, selling crepes, cool ice drinks for the insanely hot weather too!

Take some of Asia’s biggest malls, hundreds of
street-side vendors and a dozen of posh hotels and
you’ll have Siam - Bangkok’s commercial district that
will make any shopper’s heart beat faster. From cheap
electronics and wholesale goods in MBK to designer
handbags in Siam Paragon, you’re almost guaranteed to
find what you’re looking for in one of Siam’s many
malls. Take a break from the commercial craze and
