The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

Big brand shops are found here, it also has its own department store that sells different brands of clothing, shoes, bags, electronics etc. On the top floor they have a food hall where you can find a variety of restaurants - international food, pastries etc. They also have a grocery where you can buy the meat or seafood and the chef can cook it right there in front of you. It's worth a try.

Have been going here for the pas 13 years as earlier I used to stay in Soi 36. Maybe I am so used to it. Decent food court with a variety of cuisines and some decent shopping. Noticed on this trip that it was not very busy as usual as some of the newer malls seems to be busier.

Quartier food hall is located in the basement level of the Quartier shopping mall. There are many individual restaurants to go along with the stalls within the food hall itself. Nice selection of Thai, Chinese, and Japanese dishes. Prices are reasonable too. There's also a Starbucks here, and clean toilets. Many seating options, including some quiet nooks. You can buy a rechargeable food card, or use your Rabbit card. Prices are a bit higher than the food options at Terminal 21, but this is a more upscale mall. For example the seating area at KFC is over water, with a glass floor.

Emporium has been a fixture on Sukhumvit for decades. In its heyday, it was one of the best malls in Bangkok. Then, along came A host of higher-luxury malls and the owners of Emporium built EmQuartier across the street. The two are linked be a walkway across Sukhumvit Road. Emporium is more basic of the two... the now often ignored plain sister.

An excellent shopping choice in a city that is absolutely saturated with options. I enjoy shopping in BKK but Terminal 21 and Siam Paragon are just far too busy for me. EmQuartier in particular feels much less busy, and I simply enjoy shopping here most out of the BKK mega malls. Great ambience and a fantastic basement level food court make a great all-rounder.

My only drawback is the rather confusing multi-building/wing layout. But once you've visited you'll get the hang of it.

Man oh man, there is just a ton of food all around this place and there is just so much to see and do. Took my children here and they absolutely loved it. Love the choices of restaurants the best though. All in all, one of Bangkok's better malls (and yes, they have alot!)

Great shopping Mall. Very big with all the designer names, Cartier, Louis Vuitton,
Burberry etc. With a lovely food court & eateries of every type to relax in while shopping. Also a cinema complex on the top floor.
Easy to get to with a Sky train station right outside.
I will definately visit again.

I dropped by this mall on my way to the hotel. The mall is full of luxury brand boutiques and nothing special. I prefer seeing more local stores when I am traveling. I did not spend much time here in the end. If you are into high end brand goods, the mall can be good choice because this mall is conveniently located and the area is not as crowded as Siam, I think.

Shopping mall, easy to get to from phrom phong station. Clean tidy, up market brands. Many food places near by, worth a visit to emporia quarter which is over the road if you are in the area.
