The place has probably one of the best views in the city. The cocktails are good (had the Mayan and the regular Margarita and they were fine... not amazing). Each cocktail will be about 15-20 USD. Wear proper shoes (no shorts) and shirt. It's high-end...More

What to say about Vertigo?! Well the positives are many: great view, well-designed space and exceptional, attentive service. But, and this is a big 'but', the food and drink quality is well below par. The prices appear not to have noticed! The 600B margarita was...More

We spent our last evening in the Moonbar at the Banyantree Hotel to enjoy the best view over Bangkok at sunset. We arrived at the bar around 5:30. We didn't need a reservation and got seats. Soon after, it got pretty crowded. Men must wear...More

But not the best place to realize you suffer from vertigo. Or that you're broke. Otherwise, must do.

OK - I despise overpriced tourist bars. When it comes with a view like this - hate turns to love. Yeah - It is not a place to spend all night. It is a place to spend a few hours and soak in the views...More

The cocktails are not very good, so I suggest to order only a glass of beer, but the view, if you do not suffer from vertigo, is beautiful. Prices a bit high, but it is worth to pay for the view

The bar is situated above the 63rd floor of the Banyan Tree hotel. It gets very busy particularly around sunset but there are plenty of friendly helpful staff so you won't wait long for service. Views are spectacular and as you would expect drinks are...More

First time to Bangkok and this is a bar not to miss! It was really busy when we got there, however the staff were helpful and we soon got a table. Drinks are reasonably priced and the views are fabulous! Can definitely recommend this place!

For drinks, no, first come, first serve. We did not eat at Vertigo, but I would imagine reservations would be recommended.
