Adhere the 13th, also known as "the blues bar" is a tiny music venue with a huge numbers of followers: just get there, and you'll understand why. The ambiance creates a perfect frame for blues, the night opens with a solo act (some amazing blues guitarist-singer like Andy Martin are a real treat for blues lovers...) and continues with a... I love this bar! Such a cool vibe, it was really nice to have a few drinks and listen to the love music. Head there early to get seats as the bar is quite small

Honestly I don't even like blues music but every time I visit this place I'm entranced by the sheer musical ability of the live bands that play here. The atmosphere is intoxicating and everyone gets involved thanks to the incredible music and intimate space. The drinks are fairly priced as well which certainly doesn't hurt. Take a friend/girlfriend/boyfriend/husband/wife if you... More

Who would have thought you could find great blues in Bangkok. Intimate setting in a tiny venue. Get there early if you want a seat for the show.

Third or fourth times around, it has always been a great experience. Cool music in the inner bangkok - old town.

Not far from Khoasan and worth the trip. We had some bar snacks and all the food looked good. Lots of people seem to be regulars in the cosy bar, great live music!

Amazing atmosphere with brilliant live music. The drinks are very good but a touch pricy. Really cozy place, arrive early to get a table! Would definitely recommend.

Spend a night at this place, you won't regret it. Great music, great atmosphere. Hard to describe, just go and see. Good cocktails at fair prices as well.

This place was a hell of a find when I was in Bangkok four years ago. I went there every night and always had a blast. Fantastic authentic blues music played by musicians with real heart and soul. Whenever I look back on my brief time spent in Bangkok I will always remember this place. Viva Adhere!!

We'd been on a day trip to Bridge on The River Kwai and our guide mentioned this place. Said she was free that evening and could come with us. So, off we went. Really special evening as not something we had expected. The band were first class, the bar is tiny and was very crowded but all added to the... More

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
