The tickets are a little bit pricey for a private museum but the owner is quite relaxing on rules since he allows reentry later of the day or going out for drink. He allows photography too! The place is literally a haven for kids and toy enthusiasts. It brings back a lot of memories when you see toys of characters... More

Attempted to visit here yesterday(21/03/2016) and it was closed. Opening hours are still displayed outside with no explanation as to why it was closed, I tried at both 1310 and 1420 in case it may have closed for lunch. I may try again when I return to Bangkok and next time I'll call ahead

We had a lot of fun in this museum. There is no explanation anywhere, just toys but it's awesome to see toys with which we used to play 10-20 years ago and to see all the heroes we like. It's called batcat because the last part of the museum is dedicated to Batman. There are lifesize heroes sculptures with which... More

I fell asleep on my way home one morning on this Khlong boat. Lost, and in a stupor, I walked into Batcat thinking it was a bus station and bought something called a "musepass" which I thought would get me at least to Sukhumvit or something. I tripped through the turnstile and I thought I was hallucinating, There were colours... More

Easily the biggest collection of memorabilia and items of its kind, the Batcat Museum has tens of thousands of items on display, almost all of which fall under the fantasy / animation genres. Several medium-sized rooms hold more action figures than the toy store ever had. As you'd expect, Batman (and villians) are the stars here – look for him... More

Wrong map provided here. It's a lot north away although it's on the same road (Thanon Srinagrindra). If you wanna get there, get off at Huamak MRT (Airport Link) and take a taxi or motobike and you will get there in 5-10 minutes depends on traffic with the fare approximately 60 bhat for taxi and 40 bhat for motobike The... I recently made a trip down to the BatCat Museum shortly after its opening in Oct. To think the entire collection was amassed by one guy close to 40 in 8 years is certainly mind blowing. it is unbelievably big for a small museum of 2 floors. packed to the brim with toys both big & small. whether it's worth... Rooms full of toys crammed together in display cases, with the occasional life sized toy to break it up. Most of the toys you can see at Toys R Us, so I would imagine this is why we were the only people in the museum, together with the 100 baht adults and 60 baht kids entrance fee would scare off...
