I got to the address really easy. I saw a Hooters and an Irish bar I think outside the hotel. But I couldn't find BeerVault. Then I was told from staff at the hotel that the place is no longer in business. I didn't think about calling first. I should have.

BV recently changed management. Beer selection is less, first raised prices on Leffe neers then dropped them entirely. They used to have an attentive manager, now there is none, at least according to staff tonight. Quality a big drop from what they were like.

Needed a beverage and a light snack. Wait staff was attentive and helpful, although a bit confusing when trying to understand 2 for 1's. Performer...Lee Shamrock?...was performing that evening. A set from the 60-70's, one from the 80's, but fun nonetheless considering he's playing all of the instruments too.

Nice place to meet new folks at the bar. Trivia night is very corny but very fun. Good selection of beer, naturally, some of which is very reasonably priced. The night I was there they had some simple but tasty hot food during happy hour, complimentary. But worst hamburger I've ever had. Cooked to a tasteless dry puck, the chef... More

Went to Beervault with friends and found the place to be quite decent with relaxed atmosphere and good promotions. The Pie were exceptional. The service was a bit slow but I guess it happens on a busy night and also because we were sitting upstairs. The singer Lee is a good artist and a friendly person who kept the evening... More

We stayed one block away the road at the excellent (value for money) Dream Hotel during the curfew (home by midnight) and so this made an venue of choice. We actually discovered it by accident while walking past and thought it looked cool - even though part of a hotel - and were really pleased when we walked inside. AMAZING... More

We are now frequent visitors at the BeerVault, the atmosphere is really cool and feels like a great place to be. The selections of beers is impressive, Bangkok is usually pretty hard to get a good European beer but BeerVault seems to carry most of them. Prices are obviously much higher than the local beers here, but they are all... More

In a good central location on soi 15 (part of a hotel/apartments) this has a very wide range of beers and they do food as well (food untried). The prices are not cheap but reasonable for what is on offer and the happy hour (can't remember exactly but maybe 5pm-7pm) is very good value. The staff are friendly and helpful.... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
